The info is correct, the Daily Deal is based on the operating system of the user...so if you are on a Mac you will see the Mac deals, and if you are on a PC you will see the PC deals.
Hope this helps!

So what do you see if you're on Linux? (I already know the answer is PC, just thought I'd stump you.)
Now that I know it's how it's supposed to work, I'll know to work around it, thanks. After all, I don't really need PC games until I get Windows set up again, and I'd rather have Mac ones! (And more iPhone games - that's how I discovered BFG in the first place.)
P.S. I also support a wish list, both for the Amazon-type (stuff I'd like to buy later) and a request a Mac version too. The first I've actually wished for, as I always see games that look good but then forget about them if I'm not buying right away.
I thought the problem was when you only had PC access (at work, out of town without your Mac laptop) you could not find out what the Mac Deal of the Day was.. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Yeah, I was confused at work, as I was going to the Mac page and not seeing the offer, but I'm at home in the evenings and mornings, so it's not a problem most of the time. It will just be annoying when I'm out of town, especially if I'm out of the country, especially as I'm moving to a Mac soon at work. Also, this morning I didn't know how it worked, so that really confused me.
But I don't always get any Internet access when I'm away, especially for short trips, so I'll probably miss any offers those days anyway. For instance, I'm going to France this weekend to play some gigs, and I'll be lucky if I get any Internet access. But my iPhone 'counts' as a Mac, so if I get the chance, I'll check it.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to see both on the same computer, but I understand marketing and support reasons why they don't want to do that, at least with the current set up.
Sorry if I confused anyone - I was just confused when I couldn't find the offer even though I saw the new Mac pages.

We now have such a great site that I keep coming back to look at it and to enjoy what others have to say about it.
What will tomorrow bring ? Anticipation, suspense, speculation, they have my interest stoked again.
Shorenuf, staying up late, again ??? (snicker)
Cute -- it is a plan, but not one I will commit to here again. (not sure which is the emoticom for embarrassed)
Oh, the wish list -- I do not think there is one for PC -- it is a good idea. I download the trials and keep the maybes in a folder -- It is gigabytes big! Of course, I could just keep my own typed list . . . too much trouble.

Yes. Someone should start a "Mac Games found on other sites we want here" wish list and PM bfgErie to sticky it for a while (tell him it was my idea).
Our developer relations team reviews the PC lists to make sure we do not miss any, but a Mac one would be great as well. Keep in mind there are a few developers that do not give us games, but hopefully that will be changing next year.
It will be most effective if the list is games that exist already on MAc but BFG for one reason or another does not have them. Asking for PC games on Mac is a tough sell for us as we only have so much influence with PC game developers.

BTW the surprise tomorrow is NOT MCF; Dire Grove (sorry) but is a good surprise.

Done, the subject is the quote from your post. I have sent a PM to bfgErie as well.
Thanks for thinking of us Mac folk, the new Mac page is terrific.
For the next stage of the website, it would be nice if the Online Games showed which ones are Mac compatible. Or am I asking for too much too soon?

From Picman's post . . .
"It will be most effective if the list is games that exist already on MAc but BFG for one reason or another does not have them. Asking for PC games on Mac is a tough sell for us as we only have so much influence with PC game developers. "
Maybe we should keep the list to games that are on BFG for PC that have a Mac version.
BeadyBaby, please put your list on the new thread. Thanks!! And yes, Grave Secrets is a good play -- long, decent story.

Shorenuf...where is this new thread?
Never mind that...OMG...have you seen the new heading on our page - 70 games at $2.99 each...yikes!
Time to go shopping...
The thread is Forums/Chit-chat/Mac Games found on other sites we want here
It is one of the first six entries.
Yes, saw the sale!!!!! Look like Picman couldn't wait until midnight. No wonder he runs a game company -- I think there is still some little boy in his spirit. (Picman, that was a compliment.)
