What a great deal! It's a wonderful way to make the Mac people happy. I'm be spending the day ordering games I know I want & trying demos of games I might want. I hope I find time to do some of my holiday cooking. Thanks goodness I'm going to a friend's house for Thanksgiving or I would have to be cleaning my house instead of ordering new games.

Wrazzled wrote:. . . it would also be nice to have a "wish list" as I saw that one of my favorite match three types on my iPod is available for pc, Puzzle Quest

Wrazzled, if you liked Puzzle Quest, I read a review that compares it to the current Mac TGT (The Adventures of Mary Ann: Lucky Pirates).

Thank you so much, this is such a surprise. I sure am glad I'm retired. I think I'm going to have one busy day playing games.
The site is great. Your customer service people are the best. I will remain a member forever. Thanks for listening to all our complaints, and taking them into consideration when doing our new site.

Wow, They have really done this up right. I love the new tab and organization. I have recently switched to Mac and was a little frustrated by the way all the games were thrown in together. This looks wonderful. I really love Big fish!

Thanks for the great offer! I've finished up my Novemberfest purchases (including bonuses), and I may even be tempted to get a few more while it's still going on.

I just made the switch to Mac this week-got it Monday-discovered the new page Wednesday-ordered 50+ dollars in games-learned how to download etc.-this timing was made for me! I am a happy camper right now - though a tired one too!

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Welcome yanasina, you certainly timed things right.
Shorenuf, thanks for the information about yesterday's new game, as I was so busy jumping between Felix and the all games' forum, I hadn't even seen it. I will now start December with two game credits, when I had at first thought I would barely eke out the six games.

I shopped too. I bought a whole bunch of games that were on my maybe list. I see that The Adventures of Mary Ann: Lucky Pirates is now on Felix's favorites -- for $2.99 while the sale lats. It is certainly a twist on straight forward match 3 -- lots going on in that game.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

I hadn't seen that the Adventures of Mary Ann had been added to Felix, and when I tried to buy it, it would not accept the code. Maybe it will later in the day.
Edit: I haven't had a chance to demo the game, so I was just going to buy it.

Same thing here for that game -- code still working for other games. No explanation. I have never Played Puzzle Quest, so the comparison is not mine. I can just repeat, there is a lot going on.

I will let the site Editor Mudrock to get Mary Anne added to the coupon list of qualified games.

I am still buying all the games on my wish list - took a piece of my Christmas budget, but can't let the bargains go by.

As for the Mary Pirates game, I was not too thrilled about this one. I only played it about 10 minutes before I quit. I think there are other match 3 games that are much better - it seemed like this game was a mismatched hodge-podge of stuff. That's just me though. I do like Match 3 like Fishdom, 4 Elements, Around the World, Rise of Atlantis, even Unwell Mel (my 8month-old granddaughter loves watching it).

I'll pass on the Pirates game. Part of me also says that with the severe problem that we are having in this day and age with real-life pirates, it kind of bothers me to be playing a game of it. I am not suggesting it ought not to exist, just that it bothers me personally.

Mary Ann pirate game will be added to the Mac $2.99 coupon (i.e. the coupon will work) within 30 minutes. Sorry for the mistake.

Geez, we are going to be sooooo spoiled now.

Can Mac people be spoiled?

And will I ever be able to go to bed before 2am CST again?

And also - now I am going to get an iPod Touch (I'm still a Luddite on my 2nd and 5th gen classics and my pathetic Tracfone) so I won't miss the Daily Deals when I am traveling.

I guess I had better demo Mary Ann...especially as Puzzle Quest is a very well put together game. Thanks, again Picman (seems like I have said that a lot lately and for good reasons).edit: some people might like it but I deleted it in five minutes, it seems to be a kid's game.

I have loved my iPod touch, so much so, that any time friends or family hear the words, they either run away or make excuses to get off the phone..I do tend to exagerate..and I have had a tremendous amount of fun with it.

I'm trying out Mary Ann as well, as I like Match 3 but get kind of bored with them. Of course, I get bored easily, so I tend to switch between genres I like anyway.

I love my iPhone (which the Touch basically is without the phone). My husband is jealous of it, though he's considering getting a Touch in the future (he works from home so can't justify a contract phone anymore). He claims I'm so obsessed with it that he sometimes calls me iWife.

lilitu93, your post came up as I was editing mine. If you search iTunes for Puzzle Quest, make sure you pull up Puzzle Quest chapters 1 and 2, sold together. I had to laugh at iWife, very good sense of humor.

Mary Ann

[Post New]by Felinda on Nov 26, 09 4:57 PM
OK - I just tried Mary Ann again, and aside from the making light of being a pirate issue, the bad thing for me is that things keep popping up every other second and everything is getting waaaayyyyy too confusing to keep track of. This time I only lasted about 5 minutes before I'd had enough. To anyone who managed to get farther than 15 minutes into the game, does this ever let up so you can figure out what you are supposed to be doing without being interrupted with a pop-up every second breath that you take? I'd like to consider getting it now for some time down the road while it is $2.99, but if the whole game is like that, I'm not going to lose any sleep over passing it by.

Anyone have any comments on whether it is worth it?
