1. Sometimes 'walkers' stop walking. I mean, they move their feet but no going anywhere.

2. Sometimes expanded territories appear as not expanded. The buildings are there but the old trees are there too. If you wanna click on a building, it asks you to expand.

3. Sometimes all the buildings are gone (though you can still click them).

4. Sometimes I get an unexpected error and it shuts down the game.

5. In the option menu, a lot of times it says "Logged in as.." as nothing. When you click Log Out you get an unexpected error. An error which I expected to happen. And then your game crashes.

6. FRIENDS FROM FACEBOOK NEVER APPEAR IN THE INVITE NEIGHBORS WINDOW.

It sounds like your game is not running as smoothly as it should.

If you have tried the advice already offered, such as updating your driver and the other programs that help run your game and uninstalling and reinstalling the game please get in touch with our friendly Tech Support Team.

I mistakenly posted my problem on the wrong thread, so here goes again. I can't even play the game at all. It appears to have downloaded fine, and when I want to play I get a gray box with the following message:

"We're sorry, but it doesn't look like your graphics device is supported by this game." I'm then invited to contact BFG support, but without any error code I have no idea how to proceed.

This has never happened with any other Big Fish game, and I have TONS.

When I attempt to run the game it says that my monitor's resolution (1920 x 1080 landscape) is not supported. My monitor is a pretty standard one and this is the suggested resolution for it. This is the first time I've had this problem with any application. I am trying to run the latest (came out today) version of Dark Manor. What resolution should I be using?

Hi everyone.

For those of you who are having display issues, have you checked your screen resolution and updated your drivers already?

If not, I would suggest trying to make those adjustments as the first port of call.

If that fails, I would encourage you to work with Tech Support Team so they can offer some more dedicated support.

Munromd - I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game as it sounds like the game is not functioning correctly if it is unable to retrieve your saved data.

If any of you need more help, I would encourage you to run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team. One of our Reps will be happy to help and provide dedicated support for your particular issue.

Good luck!

When I start the game it stops at screen saying "Asking spirits for new content".
I need to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get out of it, and end it in task manger which tells me the program is not answering. My Singing Monsters and Rooms of Memory is running smooth so I don't understand why this game hungs. Anyone who can give me some advice on how to solve this problem?

Hi FlashKnockOut,

It may help to have a look at the followinghelp article to see if there are any updates that you can run?

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

I would recommend trying that as even a few simple updates can make a vast improvement because even though other games are running just fine, this one might be demanding a little more from your machine.

If the issues persist after checking out that article, please contact Tech Support. One of our Reps will be happy to take a closer look at this with you.

Hope this helps and that you get to experience this game soon!

My game will freeze and then I get a message "DarkManor.exe has stopped working"
I wait awhile and when I start it up it will be fine for awhile, then I get that message again..

Hi Dee632,

There are a couple things that might help with that. You can try updating programs and drivers, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I've put links to the help articles covering those steps below if you'd like to check them out:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

Uninstall / Reinstall a Game

If that isn't helping, our Tech Support Team will be happy to lend a hand and look into that for you.

I hope that helps,

ATTRACTIONS NOT CYCLING FOR COINS

[Post New]by pcpat923 on Sep 17, 13 5:49 PM
Reported to Support but haven't heard back and I don't know if anyone else has experienced the same issues. Purchased the Steam Punk Eye, Giant Robot, Lava Pit and 2 Tesla Coils. Lava Pit stopped cycling completely for over two weeks and also had issues with the Giant Robot and Steam Punk Eye.

Frustrated, and for the 2nd attempt on my day off, relocated the Attractions that were along the perimeter of the manor property--specifically, the Lava Pit which had stopped cycling altogether. Discovered that if I place Attractions along the perimeters, they stop cycling for coins. As many Attractions as I could fit are located in the center and are working smoothly.

The Lava Pit is now cycling for coins, etc. However, I lost a good amount of coins as a result of the down time as well as my day off time. I am a loyal member of BFG, however, I am keenly against wasting time and money and feel this game should have been tested more thoroughly before releasing to the public to generate revenue.

Not a fan of FB, I played Mafia Wars, Friends for Sale, Farmville--Zynga Games and forever left them for the safety and security at BFG Gaming. And so I trusted BFG but am also disappointed with 1st losing the game entirely, freezing and other issues i.e. the expense in terms of real money involved with expanding the Manor property as well as the scanty gifting limit. I don't see the point except to con good people out of their hard earned money. We helped you grow, BFG and I hope some positive changes are made within the game--especially for the newest members joining BFG as a result of Dark Manor.

Sometimes if you place your attraction item into your inventory storage temporarily, then place it back it will kick start those items back into proper functionality. This will also temporarily decrease your experience and juju totals (jot those numbers down first) but those amounts also return to normal once the item is replaced back on your yard.

As for your angst re BFG's trends, go here http://blogs.seattletimes.com/brierdudley/2013/08/21/big-fish-games-cutting-jobs-closing-offices/ and read about the new road they are traveling down.

The game kept shutting down on its own, whether other programs were running or not.

The game seems to be reloading fine after being removed from the computer.

The game has been completely deleted from my computer three times, and downloaded again.

Will not get past the "Dark Manor" screen; next screen should be "enter" but it's not going anywhere.

Help!

On my PC platform, I just went from XP level 24 to 25 and got zero notification. No recharge of my energy or notice that this level took place - nothing. Plus, the items that should unlock when you reach different levels are still locked.

I am not receiving my energy or the amount of neighbors I am visiting today. I went 15 times to visit my neighbors and I haven't received credit for going nor the energy. The loading time is ridiculous

I am not receiving coins for the lava pit for about two weeks now. Seriously, I find the amount of money needed to expand is horrific for those who are playing on your website daily. The cost of land expansion, and gold is just another way to con people out of money. I am truly disappointed in big fish and this game get it fixed or I want all my money back

Mssing Neighbors:

I posted about this on the missing neighbors thread. Not sure if this is a technical issue. My neighbors keep cycling and they are never all showing on the list. I would estimate about 1/3 are missing at all times.

This makes it very difficult to track gifts and visits. I have been wasting a lot of time looking for people. People keep cycling on and off and I wish this would stop.

I won't add any new neighbors and make any new invitations until this gets resolved.

Please help.

I'm not getting the 900 coins for the memory cleansing machine anymore. It is only giving me 100. I updated to the new version yesterday and it was giving me the 900 coins. Today it isn't. Any advice?

I have noticed that the memory cleaners do not give the 900/2hr amount of coins but only give 100/2 hr. I have 5 memory cleaners which means I lose out a lot of coins I was expecting to collect. The gift house give the full amount of Coins 900/2hrs.
I hope this gets fixed. I was expecting when I collected on the 2 hr mark a total of 4500 coins to be added to my bank I loose 4000/ 2r collection
