Welcome everyone. Love to hear about our growing family. I live in the Cincinnati area and have 2 sisters and 3 grown sons. Most of you know I have 1 grandson who just celebrated his 1st birthday . I am very fortunate that all my family is within 20 minutes of me, so I see them often. I'm 52 and and will soon celebrate my 35th wedding anniversary .
I am a HO addict, but love some sims, too. I am hyperventilating over Amazon . Madame Fate is still my all time favorite game, with Azada a close 2nd.
I all you guys.

I am from Dallas, Texas. lived here most of my life. Divorced with 3 grown daughters and 6 grandchildren. I have taken care of my nephew from the age of 7yrs old after my sister died from MS. He is 21 now. I am 62 and retired.
SIM/HO are the games I like, but I must admit sims are my favorite.

GinaBean, notice that I said I taught computers and technology to grades 1 to 6. I've been in the computer field a long time, mostly programming and teaching programming, took some time off when my girls were growing up, then I landed that teaching job. We had a tech coordinator I could go to when we had computer problems. I do like dabbling in computers, though, and now that I'm retired I spend my nongaming time teaching myself new computer things. I'd love to help out when I can, but I'm not really a tech whiz. But I do feel that I've found a group of like-minded souls here, so, since you've so openly welcomed me (and other newcomers), I'll be happy to contribute whenever and whatever I can!

Nantyglyn, can you tell me how to get Vista to work right? I sure do miss my XP. I've had nothing but stress since I bought my new computer just 2 months after everyone starting installing Vista on the new computers. If I would have known then what I know now, I would have ripped Vista off my new computer and installed XP on it before I did anything else. Now I have too much stuff on it.

Cesse, you should be able to download the Adobe Flash plugin for FIrefox and get it working.
Click "Download Now" (at top right) on this page: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
As for Internet Explorer sign in to BF in should work too... Do you see that IE "warning" page with the red shield? It looks like an error page, when in fact it's a warnign htat you can skip. When you see htat warnng page, you can select the text option to proceed "without viewing certificate" and see the BF login page.

But, Firefox doesn't recognize Adobe Flash while Internet Explorer does. It's really confusing. The one thing I miss about work is the tech guys that I could call on for help.
