When I updated for New York I lost the ability to automatically renew lives that I had purchased. I paid $9.99 for unlimited lives

Hi Annek210,

I'm sorry to hear that your lives aren't refilling like they should so you can keep playing in New York.

You mentioned that you just got the Life Lifter pack. To help clear up some confusion, this boosts your total lives from 3 - 5 so you can play a bit longer. It doesn't give you unlimited lives in the game.

To help get your lives to start refilling again, if you haven't done so already, it might be a good idea to just power off your device for a bit and then turn it on. Occasionally, the internal clock can get a bit confused on how much time is left, so doing this will help to reset it.

If that doesn't help, and you've made sure that you're Gummy Drop! progress is linked to Facebook, Google+ or your Big Fish Games account, my best suggestion would be to get in contact with out Customer Support so that they can work with you to get this fixed.

Hope this helps,
bfgLianorm

Hi kcobb11,

I was just swimming by and wanted to help answer your question about what to do with level 130 in New York.

When I was doing a bit of searching into this myself, I noticed that another player had also posted a similar issue, New York Level 130 and the Brooklyn Bridge.

From what I can tell, it looks like you'll want to play though levels 120 - 130 to collect enough money to pay the toll on the bridge.

Hope that helps,

Starting Over & Saving the Progress of the New Game

[Post New]by cait_m on Jan 4, 15 1:09 PM
Grapestomper3 wrote:Hi. Would like to start Gummy Drop over at the beginning. However each time I remove and re-install - I'm asked to connect to facebook and then it automatically resumes my previous game in Toyko. I'd like to start over completely - and still connect to facebook to save my (new) game and collect lottery prizes. How can I do this?

It has taken quite a bit of time and quite a few emails to find out that there really is very little that can be done in this case. At least that is the information provided to me by Allison and Audrey in Customer Support. The feature that would have very easily allowed a player to begin the game again from the beginning was removed in an earlier update. Currently, information stored within Facebook is permanently saved by Big Fish without any chance of removal. Deleting the game from the Facebook account does nothing as Big Fish retains the information. Deleting the entire Facebook profile does nothing as Big Fish retains the information. It is possible to begin a new game by removing and re-installing the game on your mobile device. This works very well as long as you do not log on to Facebook, and it didn't take long before I no longer missed the daily lottery tickets. The only problem is that your game statistics, completed levels, gold coins, and resources are not saved and cannot be restored if needed. While it is possible to backup progress by linking the new game to a Google or registered Big Fish account, this must be done with a different email address because the progress of the original game is not only permanently super-glued to your Facebook account, it is permanently, irrevocably, super-glued to your email address. At least, this is what I've been told. If anyone is aware of something different, please let me know.

Problem with sent lives

[Post New]by Agnes_2810 on Jan 5, 15 1:56 PM
Hi, I play Gummy on my Android tablet, and I have a problem. My friends send me lives, but I don't get them. The envelope appears, I accept the life, and than nothing happens. My son tried it, too, but he also didn't get the life, I sent him. So it's not only my phone or tablet.

Please, check it, why! I love this game, I invited some friends, but it makes no sence, if we can't send lives to each other.

Thank you!
Agnes

Hi Agnes_2810,

We are looking into the issue impacting our Android users as we speak. We are confident that we'll be able to get this corrected and users receiving the lives as expected in the not too distant future.

Keep an eye on the forum and the Google Play store for news of an update.

In San francisco, I got all the tanks required for the guy to dive. He dove, and brought up four gems...which never showed up in my gems tally at the top of the screen! Any help?

Hi! The game worked good so far, but at level 29 (San Francisco) the chained gems are not showing, I can only see the chain itself. Plus - and this is the real trouble - every time I try to activate a bomb or something near a chained gem, the game shuts down and closes. Every time. I restarted my phone, checked for updates but this keeps happening. Any tips?

Hi everyone,

I was just swimming by and thought I'd help with some of the trouble that you're seeing.

I'm sorry to hear that the Green Gems you should have received aren't appearing in your Gummy Drop! progress asaylor. The good news is that if you write in to our Customer Support team, and let them know what happened, they'll be able to get those gems added to your progress. If you could also share with them the email address that you linked to your game progress, they'll be able to get this taken care of quickly.

And I'm sorry to hear about getting stuck at level 29 Rekka. Like you, we have had other players notify us of this issue and are currently working with the game's developers to help stop this from happening so you can play that level without issues. Because we don't want you to get stuck there, if you could also write in to our Customer Support team and let them know that you're suck on this level, they can move you on to level 30.

San Francisco 45 level 3 only has 1 move & then there are no possible moves. Game over after 1 move, which is the only possible move! How can you possibly expect people to beat this level? That is an issue you need to fix.

Hi hpchick,

Like you, I was really frustrated with level 45 in San Francisco as well, and found that the Master Builder level was just pure evil.

As you mentioned, at the start of the game there is only one possible move and then the board should shuffle. What makes this one harder then the others though is that gummies only fall from that top center block, and depending on what gummy appears, depends on whether or not you will have more moves.

Because we didn't find this fair, we did talk to the developers who are currently working on balancing out the drop rate for certain colors to make it easier to play. In the mean time, while I know it's frustrating, my best suggestion would be to keep trying and see if the gummies fall in way that allows you to pass the level.

Hi Rekka,

It looks like we were able to make some changes on our end to help stop level 29 in San Francisco from crashing when using one of the line boosts and breaking the chains.

Now, you should be able to go back and play this level without having to worry about it crashing on you. Before you do though, to make sure that the changes have applied, go ahead and go to the world map if you're already in the game, and then back into San Francisco and then try playing.

Lost Green Gems from the Diver in San Francisco Bay

[Post New]by cait_m on Jan 17, 15 1:20 PM

I had a similar experience. After earning all ten of the oxygen tanks, I was, very briefly, credited with four green gems; however, before I could use them to build Fisherman’s Wharf, they disappeared. (I have screen shots to confirm this; otherwise I would likely think that I had imagined the whole thing.)

Unfortunately, as I began a new game some time ago, progress beyond the earliest levels of Tokyo are not associated with my only email address. Customer Support will not be able to credit me these earned and now lost green gems.

I recognize and appreciate the high level of variety and detail that has been put into this game. While some other players have experienced earlier difficulties, I must say that this is the first notable glitch that I have encountered. Fortunately, the creators of this game have provided alternative ways to earn green gems, and I have enough resources to replace these lost gems by using the drill in Tokyo.

I am hopeful that some day, these talented programmers will recognize that players have also invested a large number of hours into Gummy Drop! and, in the event of a programming hiccup, even players who have restarted this game from the beginning should be able to have their current statistics restored and continue as they were.

Why can I not have more than one life sent to me? I have had people send them, but after the first life comes in - which doesn't happen all the time since I don't get a lot that they send - I won't get any more til I use the 1st. The little envelop still has 1 marked on it no matter how many times fb says I got a life.

**edited to add...**
Also a lot of the time when I press the check mark to accept that life, the envelop will disappear and I won't receive the life.

G'Day SapphyreBlues ,

The Gummy Drop! team are hard at work investigating why some users aren't seeing the lives add to the game as expected when sent from friends.

If you're at maximum lives for the account this can be one reason for the lives not crediting at the time but if you have fewer than the maximum the lives should apply.

We are hopeful that the next update will have this matter resolved for all impacted players.

cait_m I sincerely apologise for any misunderstandings from correspondence with CS, if you're missing green gems, this is absolutely something that can be restored for you. Please reach out to Customer Support with the email address your current game is linked to and we will be happy to add these for you.

I can have 0 lives and press the check mark, only to not be credited with the life a lot of the time. And since I can only have one life at a time stored for some reason it gets frustrating. Love this game and have rarely played the others since installing!

Hi SapphyreBlues,

That issue you mentioned where you weren't getting your gifted lives, even when you didn't have any available, does sound like an issue that was fixed with yesterday's Gummy Drop! update.

If you haven't done so already, my best suggestion would be to install the update on your device and then try playing Gummy Drop! again to see if you're able to accept gifts again and have them appear.

Just in case, I've listed out some steps below that should help you to get the update installed on either an iOS or Android device.

- iOS -

1) Open up the App Store
2) Tap on the update option in the bottom right
3) In the new list, all updates available should appear here so you can tap on Update next to Gummy Drop!

- Android -

1) Open up the Play store
2) Tap on the menu in the top left and select "My Apps"
3) In the new list, all updates available should appear here so you can tap on Update next to Gummy Drop!

I hope this helps,
bfgLianorm

I updated it yesterday. And still when I get sent lives, if I have 1 already stored I will not get more. And a lot of the time when I press the check mark to accept it, I will not get the life.
