When the market gets bought out every 30 minutes (or less) it makes it almost impossible to keep it filled. My game is usually running in the background all day while I sculpt. To take regular breaks to rest my eyes (very, very tiny sculpting) I check my game. It's more annoying to me, I think, because I have to take more time each break when the market is sold out. I NEED those regular breaks but I can't afford to take too long. Maybe I just need to find something else to do and leave the market empty until the next real update.

I gave up on keeping it filled. I now stock it three times a day. It is empty between those times.

Remember back in MC when that game could consume so much of your time? I lost nearly two years of my life on that game. MC taught me something. Not to let the game control you. But to play for enjoyment. I left MC years ago and never looked back because it took too much of my life.

I really (really) like Sunken Secrets. But I'm not about to let it make me feel like I have to keep a market stocked 24/7 just to please other players. I've done OVER and BEYOND in helping others (as do you). I've been VERY happy to help them too (as do you). But the important point I'm trying to make here is to put your real life needs and responsibilities first and not feel guilty about it.

I'm sure you've noticed my markets empty. I have not quit the game. I'm just waiting for the next event or new content. I don't want to get burned out on the game and if I keep playing just to keep my market stocked I will.

I spotted a post on Sunken Secrets Facebook from the SS team that eluded that this latest update changes was a prep for new content to come. "When" is still a mystery but it is getting closer.

Well said, I think many of us are burned out and should let go of feeling obligated to keeping our markets stocked while waiting for the update.

Market Name: Thistle

Items: A bit of everything whenever I have some "spares".
I do keep my market stocked fully whenever I am in the game. I don't have specific hours that I play, so please accept my apologies if you stop by and everything has been purchased.

If an item is my market, I am grateful to have someone purchase it. Please, enjoy whatever you want from the "shelves".

I am rather new to the game and have no cash to spend so progress is slow and it is a real balancing act between satisfying Islander's requests and finding storage for all the "stuff". lol Sometimes I feel like one of those guys you used to see at carnivals and circuses who would spin a whole lot of plates on the top of wobbly poles! Yikes!

ETA: I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful players who very graciously and generously buy from my market.

I sell a variety of items, but only have 9 slots open at the moment. I try to put a range of items up for sale, but tend to lean more towards the items people need for making other items like Milk, Bread, Planks, Logs, Paper, etc. I've no set play-times but I do play daily, so you may find my market empty or sold out...sorry, I restock when I can.

As a seller: I've no restrictions or expectations...buy it all if you want...I need the money If you are a reseller, take it all...you probably have more followers than I do so more people will benefit from the items. I do not know anyone personally in game and therefore I am not trying to help any one individual. My hope is that someone, anyone, somewhere can use what I sell.

As a buyer: I will buy what I need for orders that I am trying to fill and am short on time to make. If you sell a stack of 10 and I only need 5, I will resell the excess. I hope that doesn't bother anyone.

I sell mainly the following, with few exceptions:
Pastries, jams, juices, jewelry, flags, garlands, sweets, kites, toys, clothing, dairy items, and kites, books and pictures as often as I can. I produce and resell so I keep as stocked up throughout the day as I can. If there's nothing for sale, I'm either producing, buying or sleeping.

I start and end every day by stocking my market with hard to find things such as glue, planks, glass, gems, ore, cream, pallettes, wire, paper, etc. Occasionally more often if I have it to spare.

Happy to help other players any way I can - I only ask not to be consistently raided - with the exception of the hard to find things I do twice a day. If I came across a market with glass, gold and glue, I'd buy it out myself.
