I have phobias of all things creepy crawlie and marvel that I'm able to play this game. I guess moving makes the difference with that one rat. While they're still or relatively still (that rat that stands on it's feet and twitches its whiskers and has to be gone to often doing DQ's is not cute in my book), I can manage. The one running around and poking its head out of various windows of the model palace has undone me and I hope they don't do more like that!

The spiders, snakes, mice, rats, and bats -- I would not cry if a good exterminator showed up at the Castle tomorrow and got rid of them all but, well, I guess in a castle named Midnight, you have to expect this sort of thing.

I call the mouse who is racing and peeking out through the windows "Speedy Gonzales", after the cartoon character, so he seems like he is just trying to escape or hide from the madness.

That's too funny. When my daughter was a kid and my cat was getting old and slow, we had a mouse that we called Speedy Gonzales. That cat had kept house mouse free for years but she was 14 at the time. (Lived 'til 18.) Her sight and speed wasn't what it used to be. I gave up on her catching it and put down a trap. Speedy got the bait out but hurt his leg in the process. It was gross. Little mouse blood all over a hardwood floor but it slowed him down enough for the cat to catch lunch. My mouse phobia grew even though we didn't get another.

The Sultan's Clothes and The Persian Fabric and that blasted Peacock

I am with eastendteddy on this one - hate doing the SC, really hate doing the PF (but am determined to keep going until I can score over 290K, then who knows - it may become the first HOS I won't do...), and used to hate that blasted P too, but for some reason it has grown on me a little...a VERY little!

I don't play the East not that I am above it or anything I would if I had to but I can't see wasting my sight on it otherwise.

Guards room is the first one that comes to mind.

Anything that has flickering moths, or flickering lights, is too much for my eyes and brain. I just use diamonds.

Hmm... I hadn't even thought about how that might be a problem for some with problems. So glad we can easily get diamonds now from the puzzles.

I will do all of them but there are a few that I prefer not to do. Such as

Altar of a Thousand Candles
Mermaid's Junk
Rock Tree
Unique Dishes (it's that darn thimble's fault )
Castle Armory

These seem busy and I have a hard time locating the items I am looking for. I am lucky if I get done under a minute and a half to two minutes. So I dread these rooms.

I have not made it to East yet, but from reading prior posts I would say I will have other rooms I will prefer not doing.

Lets us all band together and Keep on keeping on!

That thimble is so elusive!

Difficulty level definitely jumps in the East.

I do them all, and enjoy most of them. My least favorites are mermaids junk and unique dishes. The new hos's in the East are quite challenging; I think the Developers did a great job with them.

East really IS challenging so I keep that one open for quick recharge.
