Just wanted to add in the discussion that it is so nice to see how the community in Midnight Castle evolves. I'm glad to hear that players had a great time conversing over the game. Will this be a monthly ritual? I am also curious as Elsaemerald is. How were you able to recognize a fellow Midnight Castle player?

Happy conversing and gaming everyone!

I figured they found each other by their matching straight jackets... ... It's the M.C. bling that gives them away.... Then there is the swatting at flowers... with the inevitable looking up at the sky waiting for coins to drop after every 5 flowers...

so many choices.... the twitching index finger.... blurting out: BLOOD LOTUS!! at strangers.... (I double dog dare you to yell BLOOD LOTUS at the next stranger you see on the street... the cool thing is, if they yell it back, you know you've found an inmate ).....

Hey Druid and Arizona,

What's wrong with Kingman?!! It's nice and cool in the winter as well. We might even have snow!

Saw this thread by accident. Had to catch up with the CC as I did not do much playing yesterday. Too busy having a lovely time with great people. We did talk about MC and thanks to their tips I am starting to climb the "tech" ladder.

I think they recognised me because my SatNav was sending me everywhere around the place I was supposed to get to.

I am so pleased I managed to go. An experience I would definitely repeat.

Thank you very much to AuntieRoo and PTG for making yesterday such a lovely and magical day.

There's nothing wrong with Kingman, but it's a lot harder to get to.
Tucson has an International Airport. Plus plenty of places to stay in every budget range. And highs in the 70s & 80s in November & early December. And almost NO likelihood of snow, except on the mountains looking pretty, which is an advantage to some.

Oh, that's my kind of temps! But, since Susie prefers Jan or Feb, what's the temps like at that time?

Ok, the average for Jan 67 , Record High : 83 in 2000

LOW : 39 : Record Low 18 2013

FEB. : Average 71 : Record High 89 :2014

LOW 42
RECORD LOW : 17 IN 2011

I looked these up so you would have some idea of the temps for those 2 months .

There is nothin wrong with Kingman and I like snow but I do not want to drive in it .

MC'ers meeting in London today

AuntieRoo wrote:Today was a wonderful day for me,I finally got to give real ((((hugs))))) to PTG & Bemused123.
We quickly dispensed with the formalities i.e."I'm Roo","I'm PTG" & "I'm Bemused".

After a lovely meal we proceeded to compare games on each device (PC,laptop & iPad mini).PTG shared his vast knowledge of MC with us.

Bemused is very sweet & went to a huge effort to drive a long distance to be there,(Thank you).

PTG very kindly hosted the event (Thank you) & IMO has joined Randy as "A person with teddy bear qualities".

I am so glad it went well and very disappointed that I couldn't make it The weather was perfect and I really wish I could have been there. Hopefully next time I will be.

Obviously, you do not have the faith and trust that his Fairy Godmother has regarding his character..... I trust that he was the perfect host during your recent gathering..... And, frankly, I would expect nothing less from him.

(But...... once in awhile, it is necessary to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye. )

We're lucky if what snow we do get stays on the ground for a few hours or maybe overnight, although it did stay around for 3 days one year. However, if you don't want to come here, Las Vegas is only 2 hours away as compared to Tucson at 6 hours. And I am familiar with Tucson as my folks retired there and Mom lived there for 30 years!
