Complete Rainbow - How?

I m stuck on Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile, Level 11. I easily completed everything else, but it says to "complete rainbow" and I have no idea how to do so. I know there are various colors but where do I put them to complete it? Please, Please help me if you can. Thanks!!!

To complete the rainbow, you have to put the colored wedges you find within the room into the thing sitting on the floor that looks a bit like a dart board. You grab the wedge with the mouse to carry it there and then click to place it. However, you must put the wedge where it should go and then click. You cannot just click anywhere. Match the colors correctly.

That tip did not help. No matter where I put the wedge nothing seems to stick. I can't proceed with this game or this room. Any other suggestions?

I have tried the tip, but still cannot get the pieces to stay. Do you have to turn them. I cannot go on until I finish thisroom and putting the rainbow together is all I have left to do. Please Help

Shoot! This is why I came here, too. I have tried the rainbow six ways from Sunday and I can't get it.

It's too many chapters for me to go through and try again, but the GZ walkthrough says this:

Rainbow: locate the colorwheel with the missing color wedges. Find each color wedge and drag it into the appropriate missing spot so that the colors all blend smoothly together. (For example, in between yellow and red would be orange; in between blue and yellow would be green.)

Are you sure you're putting the colors in the correct place?
