I'm on lvl 79, and my game is working OK. Only problem is the amount of storage it takes. Ipad Settings - Storage & Icloud Usage - Manage Storage - shows MC taking 2.22 GB - on a 32GB ipad. I can 'reclaim' storage in other apps, by deleting and re-installing. But I know if I do that with MC, I'll lose 3 years of progress.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello babsy99,

Thank you for reaching out. For a 32 GB iPad, 2.2 GB of storage does take up a lot of space. Midnight Castle does require a high amount of storage space due to the game's high quality graphics, but after the Winter Event ends and is removed from the game, it should require less space. Please write in to our Midnight Castle Support Team after the Winter Event ends if the amount of necessary storage space remains the same; they'll be able to investigate the matter more closely.

Hi i am having problems sending gifts .I have tried to turn over the friend card but it won't let me what have I done wrong the game says i can send five times please help

Hello Lmb21,

I definitely understand wanting to know why you may be unable to send more than 5 gifts at a time and can absolutely clarify. Players are able to gift up to 5 players at a time, 3 times a day. However, players are unable to gift more than 5 players during that specific time period, which could explain why you were unable to gift more than those five during this specific time frame. I recommend waiting until the next opportunity to send gifts, which will allow you to gift more people.

If you haven't sent 5 gifts yet in that time frame, but none of your Friend's Wish Lists are appearing when tapping on the specific friend, it's likely due to that Friend not having a Wish List available to gift to. This means that you will be unable to gift to them since they are not requesting anything. Some players choose to not field a Wish list to aid other players or to return a gifting favor, so it's possible that your Friends are currently not requesting items.

Trina has left me!!!! She just left me yesterday and will not reappear. What have I done to her that she would desert me. I an on my I-pad and my user number is i645141. Without my one tru love I will not be able to do any of her quests. I have turned off and back on but no luck. Please advise someone about this breakdown in relationships.

Thank you for your patience while waiting on some further help. It sounds like Trina disappeared for a bit, but after a while, Trina was available again. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, but am glad you are able to continue the quests with her.

In the future, if you find a NPC that you need for a quest seems to have disappeared, don't hesitate to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with that Friend Code. If you are also able to do so, taking a screenshot of where the NPC should be and providing that NPCs' name can help our Reps with investigating this more rapidly. Since there are multiple methods for doing so, please contact your device's manufacturer for details on how to take a screenshot on your iOS device. Our Reps will do their best to get back in touch as soon as they can to follow up.

hello
I'm getting a new ipad for my birthday , does my game automatically transfer to my new tablet when i set it up ? or do i have to get help to transfer my game over as i don't want to lose all my levels and have to start over again

Dedelord, it appears that may be my last post in response to these questions may not have been seen. I'm sorry about that, and would like to link to my response and reiterate it below:

Welcome to Midnight Castle forum

In that response, I clarify what the ghost meant when saying he won't talk until the next update. When a character requests that you speak with them again in the next update, this is the game's way of indicating that you've reached the end of all currently available content.

The appropriate teams are currently working hard on additional content to be released to players as soon as it's ready. When new content is available, our Forum Moderation Team will be sure to update the announcements for this game. Thank you for your patience while that's being worked on.

cmr1950, for iOS devices, players are able to link their progress to a Facebook account and then sign into that linked account on a new device to manually transfer their progress. Here's those steps if you'd like to try them:

1. Open Midnight Castle
2. Tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner
3. Tap Sign in with Facebook
4. Follow the prompts to connect to Facebook

After that, you can log in with the same steps on the new device.

If you'd like to not use Facebook, or don't have an account to attach to your progress, you can also make note of your current progress' Friend Code, to provide to us along with the new device's Friend Code after installing the game on that new device. Our Reps can use those codes to provide an account transfer to the new device.

Every time I close my game & reopen it, it starts the download all over again. This takes at least several minutes to complete, sometimes longer. Or have we really had 7 downloads since yesterday?
I am also having a LOT of "please wait" that can last 5 or 10 minutes, & sometimes it never comes back. At that point, I have to shut it down & reload. And wait through the "download" again.
This is slowing me down considerably, trying to complete the CC. Those 30 hints? I've used 13. And I've even used a few Wands & Crystal Balls. This is becoming rediculous. It's time to start sending airships in an hour, & I can't even get back in right now - stuck on 0 of 1. Again.

So I have to say gameplay IS being affected.

Druid i1916357, iPhone SE, version 10.3.2

STARTED OUT ON A NEW COMPUTER AND SHE IS TRYING TO PLAY ON A CRASHING, FREEZING OLDER COMPUTER. SHE HAS SPENT MUCH TIME, FRUSTRATION AND REAL MONEY JUST TO GET WHERE SHE IS IN THE GAME. SHE IS SO DISCOURAGED REALIZING SHE IS FACED WITH BUYING A NEW COMPUTER AND LOSING HER PROGRESS IN THE GAME. CAN SOMEONE IN THE FORUM IN VERY SIMPLE, EASY TO FOLLOW "OLD LADY SPEAK" INSTRUCTIONS TELL US HOW TO TRANSFER HER GAME FROM THE OLD COMPUTER TO THE NEW COMPUTER WITHOUT LOSING HER PROGRESS AND RESOURCES NOT TO MENTION MONEY INVESTED IN MIDNIGHT CASTLE WHICH BY THE WAY WE ARE LOVING ARE OLD ART PLAYERS. I'm so glad you reached out to us. I can definitely provide some straightforward instructions about how to transfer Midnight Castle between computers.

Please ask your friend to follow the instructions below:

1. Get the original game's Friend Code.
2. Install Midnight Castle on the new computer.
3. Get the new game's Friend Code.
4. Email our Midnight Castle Support Team.
5. Provide our Support Team with both games' Friend Codes.

Our Support Team will transfer the game as quickly as possible. The tool they uses will allow them to transfer everything but the original game's Friend List. Your friend can rebuild their Friend List by posting their Friend Code to the thread below, where other PC players post their codes:

I'm at level 45 there is an icon for level 47 - looked and there is not a 46. I also have to "make small and then make it big" because it is large and won't resize a880500

Hi Lizzardo,

It sounds like there are some questions about the unlocks available in the game, as well as some possible display issues. Based on the Friend Code provided, it looks like you're playing on an Android device, so I'll do my best to provide some tips that may help out on that type of device.

For the first part about the unlocks, elements and areas of the game are unlocked at different levels. Sometimes there may be a different area available at every level, but there can also be a gap between unlockable elements. This could lead to there being something to unlock at 45 and then nothing else until we hit level 47. This is perfectly normal, so there's no need for concern over possibly missing out on game content.

In regards to the display issues (the part saying it's large and won't resize), I'm not entirely sure what's being referred to here, and I apologize for that. My best advice would be to try reinstalling the app in case something went wrong in the background somewhere. Beyond that, it would be a good idea to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with your Friend Code. It would be great if you could also send a screenshot of what you're seeing when this happens. That will help our team better investigate and assist with the issue.
