Morning Edna. Seems you are up earlier and earlier these days. It's only 2:00 am here. I haven't gone to bed yet. Hubby has the next 4 days off. Yipee! He's going to build a stone block area to put our gas BBQ grill on today. Maybe he will get some game time in also.

Good morning everyone Hope everyone has a great day!!!!! I work from 9:30a to 6:00p today and am off tomorrow so it should be a good day. Maybe they will notice my game withdrawal symtoms and send me home early today. Keeping my fingers crossed. Be good, take care, and have fun.

Mornin' pond friends
It's bright and sunny here on the east coast of Virginia (no smoke!).
Must finish the jigglers for VBS and make my Marinated Vegetables
for the cook-out tomorrow. Our neighborhood has a kids parade and it
will form in front of our house so we get a ring side seat, then there is a pot-luck
cookout after. A lot of fun!

Ugh, if I could get out of this office early it'd be a great day! Headin' to my sista's for a BBQ right after work, she's my best friend and one of my favorite people to spend time with. Two of her kids will be there, my brothers will be coming too. Gotta pick up a BIG jug of tequila on my lunch hour (maybe I should make it a barrel), then on to Rita's for lemon and lime water ice to mix it with! YUMMO! Yes, the lush is at it again! Cheers everyone!

Hey Gina...... down here in the Southwest close to Mexico, we (well, I can't drink) drink Tequila with the worm in it. You are a girly-man if you don't. Now there is a double dare for ya.

Mornin' to all of my fish friends! Looks like a beautiful day here--and the same for the entire holiday weekend! Working today, as usual, but am off tomorrow. Things have quieted down, so today is just alot of administrative stuff I need to catch up on. After that--there will be games! No plans for the 4th, we are just going to kick back and relax (and those margaritas would fit in well)! Have a party Saturday night and picnic Sunday afternoon, so I think I'll try a new taco salad recipe to take--easy and looks like a flag when finished! And I'm sure I'll be on the boards this weekend. Wishing everyone a safe, happy and fun 4th of July!!!

My daughter just sent this joke. It's a hoot. It's called The Silent Treatment.

A man and his wife were having some problems at home
and were giving each other the silent treatment.
Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him
at 5:0 0 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM ." He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him,
when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM . Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

I have to admit then, Scotcat, I'm a girly-man. I even shave my chest hair. That's something I could never bring myself to do, I'm a gagger. I'd never make it as a contestant on Survivor, that's for sure.

Good morning all. I had a show last night (I sell kitchen items) and I'm paying the price today for all the standing and lugging I did. LOL

Today I'm just taking it easy. I just plan on doing nothing.

Yep Basketcase, I agree with you. The stoneware is especially great. I've been buying their products for YEARS and have quite a few. In fact, just had two parties to go to last month--have to try the new things out soon!
