Lost Blue Dots

I can see there were a lot of posts today ... ones I have not read since I've been gone for 7 hours. However, none of them had blue dots in front saying they were unread. A new glitch???

I just logged on, not having been on since yesterday - almost 24 hours - and I have lots of blue dots.

I have the opposite problem Cesse, I have blue dots on threads I've ALREADY read.

GinaBean, you're just seeing blue dots from all the tequilla you drank today! C'mon just admit it.

Basketcase, I see ALL sorts of things after I've drinked tequila, don't remember any of them being blue dots! Red maybe...

This is just screwy. Watching Olympic trials. came in to see posts, no blue dots. Went in to read a post I was sure I hadn't seen; came out and had 10 blue dots ... geezzzz

nope. our family parties are non-alcoholic ... cause everyone has to drive a ways to get home. so, years ago we made it a rule. and, I love love love wine. so, decided it might not be a good idea to drink at home by myself either. Since I grew up in a family of alcoholics, it seemed the better plan.
... I just think my blue dots are jinxed ... 1st I couldn't get rid of them; today they just disappeared. sighhhhh

Non-alcoholic family parties? DANG, I couldn't get THROUGH one of those if there wasn't alcohol available! I'm of Irish and German descent, so what can I say? I was destined to be a lush!

I know, I know ... it's sad. We used to have keggers ... we'd get together and someone would bring a keg (I brought wine) and we all had a great time. Except for 3 families, everyone else has at least an hour's drive to get home. One year we had 3 separate accidents; so, before many of us left for home, we got calls to go to the hospital. Those of us in the waiting room held a family conference and ... majority ruled. It's different if we have family parties at someone's house. We check our keys with whoever is host and can't get them back without doing a breathalizer test (we have cops, paramedics, nurses, and doctors in the family LOL).

I must say, Cesse, that I'm a wine lover too. As a chronic insomniac for over 25 years, I've tried EVERY prescription, over-the-counter and natural remedy known to man to help me sleep, and wine is the ONLY THING that'll do the trick. In fact, I'm suckin' back a glass as we speak. Unfortunately, my gut gives it away, but it's either gain weight or sleep, so I gave in.

I'm the only real wine drinker in my family. So, I always take my own whenever I go to dinner or to a party or whatever. Lucky me...I usually get the whole bottle LOL

Gina, when I have trouble sleeping I have hubby adjust my neck. Works every time.

Gee, I guess I just have to learn to stay up later--looks like I missed all the fun. I don't sleep well or through the night, but tend to nod off early (after the wine). I think there were some problems with the blue dots yesterday---I had both situations mentioned--dots on posts I'd already read AND posts with no dots. And yes, that was before I had any wine! Probably just something that needs to be worked up while in beta!

This one drove me nuts yesterday. Couldn't get a break. blue dots when I didn't want them; no blue dots when I needed them. LOL

Well Scotcat, unfortunately I'm not as lucky as you to have a chiropractor for a husband! Not a bad deal, having your own live-in masseuse! Guess I'll just have to stick with the vino. I still say we need a "drunk" emoticon up there.
