Hidden Object Show - Season 2

[Post New]by GinaBean on Jul 23, 08 7:25 AM
Here's a preview...

"Gogii Games' The Hidden Object Show offered seek-and-find gameplay in the setting of a somewhat quirky - and very long - game show. Now, Gogii is boasting that the game's follow-up, The Hidden Object Show: Season 2, is going to be the longest hidden object game to date. Since the first one lasted more than 100 rounds, we're certainly interested - and a little scared, perhaps - to see just what the sequel has in store when it launches next month. It's set in a theme park and features new mini-games and modes, including a ticket redeption store."

Hmmm, I'm wondering if it'll offer a "game redemption" too if we don't like it!

Good morn gina and lisa! I did finish the first but not sure if I would use a coupon for the second but then again when there is nothing else interesting. I shall probably store it away like so many others.Am thinking of buying one of these external hard drives for the games, seems that someone said they are the perfect way to store for people who like lots of games stored.

I demoed the first one, but never got it. Guess there were too many other HO games at the time I liked better. Maybe they will make some changes to this next installment to improve it?????

Ghost, I have an external hard drive, and it really works out great. I can actually download all my games to it directly and play from there too. If you plan on doing that though, use the Mozilla Firefox browser, it gives you the option of downloading to any drive you want, unlike IE.

I liked the first one for awhile, but I realize that I never finished it. Must be a reason - I guess it got repetitious. Maybe I'll go back today and see why I never finished it.

I played the demo on the first one and decided not to buy it. I'll play the demo on version 2 but if it's like the first one, I'm sure I won't get it either.

I demoed the first one and I don't think I even finished the hour trial. Found it to be such a boring grind, same thing level after level after level. Not that all HO aren't that way to some extent, but this one just seemed more repetitive than most.

I really liked, bought and finished the first one. I can't wait for the next one. Even though it's really long, it'll fill in the gaps.

I think my problem with the first one was just the sheer repetitiveness of it. I know all HO games repeat themselves to some extent, but it just felt like a grind with this one. I got bored after a few rounds. That's not to say I wouldn't have eventually finished the game if I bought it. It's just not one of those HO games I would feel compelled to play for hours on end until I finished it. HO show is a game that would have to be taken in small doses for me to enjoy it.

I couldn't stomach getting through this game. I think I played about 20 minutes or so. By then.... like Lisa... I wanted to beat the crap outta the host with his annoying voice.

I'll give the second one a chance with few expectations.

i don't know why I didn't finish it - just got bored, I guess. But I will at least give the second one a chance. Maybe they heard those complaints and fixed them.

Hey gameagent, glad you stopped by here to get some customer feedback! We ALWAYS appreciate it when game manufacturers listen to their customers! We're a hard-core group of HO addicts here, if you couldn't already tell! Well I, for one, will be happy to give it a shot, and I'm sure I'm not alone! Thanks again, and a big to you for thinking of us!
