Although I love this game, I have noticed a few things that I find aggravating in the extreme.

First, even though you want the items to help you access the flag and have clicked to find them, you get the items for, say, the drunken skeleton instead.

Second, too many of the items needed use the same place, such as the coffin or the tower or the table in the inn.

Third, when I craft an item, I never get much from the spin. Is this due to level, or does it never give anything good?

Again, I do enjoy this game, but it definately has its drawbacks.

I certainly agree with most of the comments that have been made here and am getting to the stage where its frustrating me to play it, really its very boring trying to do a quest and having to go back again and again before you can move on, I did stop playing for a few weeks and went back to it thinking the latest update would speed things up but no, am back to waiting and waiting so I think its time to delete this game and move on to something else

I'm finding that at times it's next to impossible to complete the Alchemist's Quest, since the sites apparently do NOT want to give you the items necessary. For instance, right now I can't visit the carnevourous lily because I don't have any Live potions and when I try to get them, all I get is the love item.

If you click to find the Live potion at the lily, you should be able to get that potion, even if it's not for your primary quest.

I am half way through level 21 and have had enough. This game is SO repetative it feels like the developers are just taking the P**** I regret all the hours and dedication I have wasted on it. The BOW FIGURINE and SIX PAW are bad enough to get through once. To ask us to do it again and again is just nasty. It seems to me that they have removed the promised ending and replaced it with endless taunts to get money out of you. However, in doing so Elephant games have lost me as a player for good. I will not be buying any more games from this company.
They will lose a lot of goodwill and reputation from what they have done to this game. A great shame.

I don't have the funds to play all the games that you need to buy items to play the game. Some people are on a limited income.

Just FYI, this game really doesn't require you to spend any money--although it does take many many days to earn the money---you CAN do it without spending a dime on extra coins or diamonds. Unlike many of the other "free to play" games, you can get thru the levels without going broke--also note that you can always sell off collected items for extra coins should you get low. The diamonds are only to enable to "speed the game up" but I learned that there's really no way to speed this one up. Just take it as a free to play game and enjoy it as it is.

I really liked the content and enjoyed the game. There was challenge to the game and it took some time to gather items to craft for the Bow Figurine and Six-Paws. I would rate the game five stars and would of recommended to friends. Now the major changes that took place on May 14, it is now boring. With the update I went from quest 514 all the way to quest 555. Now what is the challenge of the game if someone can do that many quest in that short period of time. The Bow Figurine and Six-Paw was slow at doing them but atleast there would of been something there so I didn't run out of quest. I would rate the game now 2.5 stars because of the major content change. I seen quest 595 is the last, how many people are going to be waiting for new quest to be added. I just hope they bring some of the challenge back because I was looking for a ongoing game that had stuff to do everyday, not sit around waiting for new things to be added.

This game is a straight hidden object game, no real mini games, no adventure. Prior to the update, there were quests that were challenging, not because they were difficult, but because they required time and patience. Alas, with the update, none of the quests require either.

If you like games that change the rules as you are playing, you should try this game. The update left me feeling like I had entered the Boston Marathon and right before I crossed the finish line, I was told "This race is too long for some people, so we're cancelling it and instead everybody can run around the bases at Fenway Park."

But if you want to play, you better hurry. With the changes, unless you are the most impatient person on earth, there is no need to pay cash to play this, and unless Elephant Games and Big Fish have become charitable organizations, it's just a matter of time before this game gets shut down.

Love this game, waiting for update lol..I now have 30 pages of items, if I could change one thing. The items would be sorted alphabetically instead of by count. Maybe move the ship items to a new tab also.
Keep it up you designers - the new HOS are annoyingly difficult!!

Free game? Not! I love this game but I have spent over a hundred dollars on coins and gems. You guys need to figure out a way for us to earn money and a place for us to trade it for gems or pet food. It's getting kind of expensive!

Why, by the way, does every quest end at the same couple of hidden object scenes?
I keep going to each person and not only do they all need the same objects, but I have one quest left on this level, and the witch needs the same stuff for both potions. Redundant much?

Re the latest update,28/may.
I don't know what it fixed but I do know what it didn't fix.

the game STILL occasionally refuses to give what you earn collecting flowers.
very annoying when it's a diamond.

I love this game, but I see no reason for new challenges to require the same thingsat the same time when there are so many to choose from in the game. Especially because it takes so long for the areas to recharge and you need the same items, I find this ridiculous and aggravating and very frustrating. I think the game could be organized a little better. I do love the graphics.

Now at level 19, I have been playing this game every day since March 2014. I have thoroughly enjoyed it until now.

I have issues with this game that parrots what others have already stated in their reviews. For instance:
1. When crafting items, the rewards are always the same (usually coins). The items other than coins are not very useful....and then there is the "X" when you get nothing. Sometimes it takes hours to get the items to craft an object. The reward should be better than what we are being given. Why have the wheels spinning before our eyes taunting us with items it will never give us?

2. It does not always give the reward when collecting the required 5 flowers. It makes the sound, but it does not add coins or gems.

3. The time allotted to finish a HOS and get a reward is ridiculous when looking for over 15-20 items. Less than 30 seconds is just not enough time! This is a great way to earn more coins but very frustrating and next to impossible to achieve.

4. There is no way to send a message to someone who has sent you a gift to say thanks.

5. Upon reaching level 19, the Cauldron and Rune Altar require items to be crafted to get the quest item. It is totally redundant and unnecessary, not to mention, very expensive in coins to craft or in gems if wanting to bypass the crafting option.

6. The coin rewards are minimal and should be increased or at least an option for friends to gift them to you.

I have actually spent money on this "free" game to buy gems in order to get items and complete quests which is my way of supporting the developers. But, it is becoming less and less enjoyable. I am not sure if I will continue playing.

Has anyone noticed, since the latest update, when you collect 5 flowers, the coins (or diamond if you're lucky) appear from a different part of the screen.

lets hope it's part of a fix to stop them dissapearing.

It's amazing how many coins you can collect from the flowers now that the disappearing coins problem has been fixed. I only "dropped" coins once today from collecting flowers. Nice!

I like the graphics and how the hidden items are usually in different places in the HOs. I just wish the tuning fork and skinny bracelet were easier to click on. The achievements and daily quests make this game more enjoyable but best of all is the forum where you can see other people are frustrated and can vent.

I've been doing this game for awhile and I'm stopped at level 27 right now. It's enjoyable to just do the 22 HOS 2-3 times a day. I was really annoyed at having to do the stupid bow figurine so many times. I hope the new update doesn't end up where you need the same 3-4 items many many times. Part of what makes this game so much fun is the imagination behind crafting the quests. Thanks, Elephant & BF!

I recommend this game to everyone, it truely is fantastic!!! The graphics are wonderful and the humour of the story line is very good. Its addictive, but so what? I've been playing on and off for three months now and am not getting bored in the slightest. Okay, games of this type are a little repetetive but there is always something new to tackle dreamed up by very imaginative creators.

However, the greatest feature of the game is the community of players... If anyone is playing without accessing the forum then they are missing more than half of the experience... Thank you BFG for providing us with an outlet to let-off-steam!

So thank you BIG FISH and thank you ELEPHANT, I know that we moan... But its not malicious... You really have a first rate game here!!!!!

This is by far one of the best hidden object games I have ever played, the graphics are superb, I am a learn as you go player, but the forums have helped me immensely. The only problem I have is, wish there were more options, or stuff to do in the wait times. But the overall, uniqueness of this game from the animals, to the airship, to the social side of acquiring friends, makes my day. If I had 10 thumbs they'd all be up!

Great game I am completely addicted. I echo complaint about long wait times but it may be for the better or I might never get to bed on week nights or get dressed on weekends!

More seriously, the social area needs attention it runs very very very very slowly. I am on level 24 and have over 170 friends. Accepting gifts, giving gifts or adding more friends is painful it takes so long to process.

I love this game! For me it is mindless recreation and a great way to unplug from the real stress. The graphics are nice, and the little venues that open up within each location add an interesting break from HOS. The avatars are fun as well as it's nice to not get stuck looking the same day in day out.

I personally would like more character interaction meaning when you visit the pirate he might say, "Ahoy Mate or Shiver Me Timbers" or crude remarks from the dead guy at the dice table.

I have found that if your schedule permits, visit each location off and on throughout the day not worrying with fulfilling any quest - just collect your goodies and coins, and of course every flower possible; then when you are done for the day most often you will have the coins and items necessary for fulfilling the quest. I strongly recommend this process for levels 23 -27 as the venues to open are costly and quest items are repetitive. God Bless that little Binding Egg!

I like that while I have the option of spending real money, it is completely unnecessary if you are patient and most importantly enjoy playing the game for relaxation. I am on level 27 and have been down to zero coins and simply collected flowers and played locations for days until I had enough to proceed.

If you get stuck and become frustrated, perhaps you can justify a purchase of MC diamonds/coins in lieu of whichever game you would normally purchase from Big Fish. Just saying . . . if you are going to spend the money anyway this may be a win-win for easing frustrations.

I like that I can see how my friends scored at a location as it is fun to see how I rank among them and of course I am delighted to see that occasionally I come in first. I'm always excited by the little twinkle that tells me there is activity in my social tab. I am very grateful and it is like Christmas morning to see those wrapped little packages!

For me, the Friend's list is essential to fulfilling the enjoyment of the game. If you keep you list modest and select players at varying levels you will be surprised with how helpful this feature can be toward not only fulfilling your quest but theirs. Mass multiples of items are collected at varying levels and while you are wondering what to do with the little do-dad that you suddenly have 26 of, your friend six levels up will need it desperately and vice-versa. I must have 50 of those silly little keys that are currently useless to me but many in my friend's list need to advance.
