I actually stopped two other games to stay focused on sunken secrets. So I managed the game to level 81 within 3 months.

Imho mostly a lack of patience is the reason why people underrate the game. Be more patient as well as manage the game in the way that you are able to obtain the necessary ressources. Eg use machines overnight to produce goods which are time expensive. Take your time to collect magic (produce it overnight too) and avoid loss of pearls. Sell goods before go to sleep. These are sold on the next morning. Use your diver as much as you can. Use your magic for fountains. I can collect every 3-4 hours approx. 4000 of magic for the diver.

A good management of the game seems essential for me. Patience is the magic word.

So I would rate the game at least with 8/10.

Reg,
Olg

Agree with most of the other players. Game could be fun but spoiled by ridiculous costs to buy things and time it takes to make or earn what is needed. At level 39, I have stopped expansions. No way to use new territory without tons of coins & pearls. Trying to complete palace ballroom for weeks now & can't without basalt (which is extremely time consuming & hard to get) to make 3 bricks in 2 -3 hrs. You need like a BAZILLION bricks just to complete that 1 part of palace!! Getting frustrated, can't see how anyone got to higher levels without spending a fortune!! I won't.

3 issues:

1. I'm always getting many Requests for the newest type of material, but I don't have enough gold to buy the required factory. I've just hit lv 31 and 5 out of 7 requests require something that looks like a wooden plank, made in a machine that costs 4500 gold where I have less than 2000.
There is really no way to earn gold without leveling up, so it seems I'm always a bit behind and it lasts for several levels already and gets worse. I understand that balancing these things is hard but this is definitely not balanced well.

2. When I skip a request, quite often it comes back unchanged (e.g. 4 items, all come back with same kinds and same quantities). At other times, it comes back stronger (e.g. I skip 2 planks and 3 come back). I'm wondering if that is on purpose or a bug.

3. The magic required for dives grows out of control. I'm earning magic at nearly the same speed as when I was level 15 but the cost has grown from 2000 to 8000. And my capacity is 3800-ish. Pretty soon I won't be able to dive at all. Again, I'm leveling up too fast and everything gets more expensive.

I really like this game. But I do have my issues with the game. I finally made it to level 64 and it wasn't easy because there are to many task to finish before you can move on and and things are not easy to get to finish the task. Now we have to build a castle and the under water artifact with not enough ways to get material to build it. Basalt and amber that is so difficult to get. when you need things the games should know and help you get them not hide them from you or limit them. I decided I would pay $25 do get pearls I thought 150 was a good amount to get a head start. Boy I was wrong it lasted me like 30 mins and then I still didn't finish either one of the task as it is I have less than 10 hrs to finish the cleaning of the artifact and I will not make it cause I don't have enough materials. The castle is the same you don't get enough stones and it takes to long to make them. Way to expensive to pay any more money I work hard for. I don't know how much longer I will be playing. I want a game I enjoy and take me away from my stress of the day not make me get irritated.
Please make a few changes so I will keep playing.

It is very funny, different from others, I have come to level 30 in a comfortable way. I had to enter often but not for a long time, which is good. After 3 years playing Hayday every single day, Sunken is a very good alternative,
It is pretty easy to obtain magic stones and pearls, but it is also easy to accidentally spend the pearls. Sometimes the screen jumps and woops, the pearls are gone. A SECOND TAP CONFIRMATION WOULD BE GREAT TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING.
This is my only complain, the others troubles form part of the game and I have to find how to overcome them, otherwise I would give 5 stars. I would like to know if somebody is reading this and have some answer. Thanks.

WARNING ABOUT TO REVEAL A SPOILER!!!!!! I started to build the castle and when I got finished building the stargazers tower and I decide to build the ballroom before the disciples tower and now because of the new update I can't finish building the ballroom because it says I have to finish the disciples tower before I can build the ballroom and I can't build the disciples tower because I don't have enough royal seals because I used them on the ballroom and I was going to get the rest when I finished it but I can't finish the ballroom because of the new update. So now I can't build at all.

I think everything has been said quite a few times but I'll add my thoughts. Love the game but it is very difficult to stay with it since takes soooo long to get things completed. I'm on level 38 and had goal to stay with castle completion before diverting to underwater mine, however, there is no way to get Amber bits in the game now except underwater. As has been said, items are too expensive. It shouldn't cost 7-10,000 for one machine. I probably won't stay with this unless it becomes a little easier to progress. I like a challenge but having to do same boring tasks over and over is too much.

Since the last update the game feels really unbalanced. I end up with tons of magic I can do nothing with if I'm not diving, even doing only panda runs gives me max of 5-6 green stones a day with the balloons, and amber and basalt are a lot less available than before. I need to do a "dry run" on an underground island to even know how many leaf stones I need to have.

Even if I am diving, I usually have far more magic than I can use. I also end up with a lot more gold than I can spend once my store had enough slots.

Suggestions:

Let us buy Amber and basalt again from the wizard in the balloon.
Make the blue stones reverse engineerable into 3 green stones.

Hi there,

I want to pop in here and let players know that I've gone ahead and passed along the contents of this thread to the appropriate teams. I can definitely understand wanting more ways to obtain amber and basalt bits within the game. If the Moderation Team is aware of any changes, we will be sure to update the Forums. In the meantime, players can obtain amber and basalt bits by completing requests from the villagers, taking dives with the Deep Diver, and purchasing these items in the marketplace. Green leaf stones can be obtained from balloons as well as villager requests. If you find that items aren't being received, you are welcome to reach out to our Customer Support Team with your player ID.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I've resisted for some time but now I feel the urge to comment on recent changes.

The game is made much harder, many parts that were the source of joy are no longer accessible. Most of it goes back to the inability to go for a shallow dive.

1. Villagers seem to have stopped offering pearls.
2. There is no reasonable way to obtain amber.
3. There is no reasonable way to obtain basalt.
4. There is no reasonable way to obtain paper slots.
5. The boxes that expand inventory are much harder to come by.
6. Pearls are extremely rare.

Most of the above could be fixed by returning the shallow dive, along with the loot it was bringing.

7. Spending pearls has not been remedied at all. During popping baloons, I've just wasted 3 pearls by speeding up production.
Also accidentally tapping any machine twice speeds up the production, wasting pearls.

8. It might be helpful if we knew how many islands are underwater. It would give players a goal to work for. This information will eventually be discovered anyway... if anyone is still playing at the time.

Normally, as time passes, games are made easier to keep new players interested. Here we see the reverse: old players have everything, new players have no chance. If the game is meant to continue, it needs to be changed.

Quote for truth.

I'm over lvl 70 now, have over 8,000 magic-limit, am pretty far on the castle, an update I loved. But now, with the diving to underwater islands, I have no way to get amber and basalt, except for the orders from the villagers, once a day.

Because I really dislike the Balloons, I never did them, only when they brought basalt and amber back.

Victoria, I agree with all the points you make. The building of the palace, the recent event with the stone fragments, and especially the underwater areas are dangerous oaths for new players to follow. The resources they take are needed to open all island areas and upgrade buildings to increase magic.

Higher level players aren't really winning here, either. There are virtually no achievements left with which to earn pearls. Once buildings are upgraded, there's little else to work toward. I've set my personal goals, but sending balloons and stocking my market all day aren't much of a challenge. Within a month, I'll have met my 1,000,000 coin goal, my 100 of each stone goal, and my 1,000 storage goal. I could do the underwater islands, but frankly, they're boring. I could play any pop 3 game and find it more interesting.

At level 110, I don't remember the last time I got more than a pearl for leveling up, although it now takes over 55,000 XP to do so. I need 45 of each type of box to get 29 more spaces. I'd love the have the reward if additional achievements, more farm plots, etc.

The game's current structure is detrimental to newer players and has nothing to offer high level players. Constantly expressed concerns have been ignored. I really wish I had a clue what the developers were thinking, as it might make me more patient with the process.

So, I did this island, but because I didn't have green stones, I only got 1 basalt. No amber, nothing useful. How the heck can I build the castle is I only get 1 basalt after 8 hours of playing???

I have been playing this game for about 4 months. I love the game there were a few times in the beginning I thought it was very difficult but that took patient and I got threw it. But now since building the Palace I have changed my mind I have tried to get to different levels in the game and can't because of not being able to get the items needed and I finally decided to buy some pearls and they are not cheap or even reasonable I ended up spending almost $100.00 and still not even close to being done with the Palace. Then you bring in the diver that was cool thought this under water world would be very helpful. Was I wrong. I spent a few more dollars to try and set myself up .ok well I went to bed broke again and out of pearls. Then I woke up and then realized I lost it all because when u run out of time you just don't come up to the main level but the whole area you were working on disappers ,but u can pay more pearls to stay where were or loose it all. Well I do work and I do have a family and I do have to sleep so I feel like I will not be able to finish. I have decided to delete the game I really enjoyed and still do but I will never be able to get any where . I wish the makers understood that I work hard for my money and I do have a life also. Make the game user friendly and I might just keep playing

the new update for the deep sea diver is very costly and is barley able to be complete without paying actual money

I love the game and im on level 87, my only real feustration now is with underwater.part. I have been on the 4th island now for 5 days because the balloons only have given 3 green stones in all those days, i have continually sent balloons for all those days but i have gotten everything else, i have to keep feeding my little guy magic to keep him down there (hopefuuly hos tank dont run out and drown before its done), or i loose everything i have and have to start the island all over again, i mean seriously if you need green stones to complete the level dont make it impossible to get them, because there are times im wanting to quit now if this keeps up.

This game is a lot of until it is not. It moves along relatively quickly until you get to about level 12 then it wants real money. I paid $30 in real money and yet it isn't enough to get me to level 15 where I need to be in order to use my magic again. I think they are overly greedy in their design of the game. I have done many requests and still do not have enough rope to upgrade my storage. I refuse to pay more money for storage. The game is fun but it is very costly to play and it is geared towards paying more than it gives you rewards you can use to advance.

Was enjoying the game until the underwater castles. It is really frustrating that I have to lose all my progress, pearls, and investments every time the diver runs out of time. Game has become very difficult to play , expensive, and irritating. Will probably quit if things don't change.
