What means goner and what means like-named?
Got no translation for it.

Nix, as I said above, like-named relates to Arkansas and Kansas as the names are almost the same and they are in the Orzaks. Google is my friend!
Goner usually means someone has died or about to ("He's a goner" said when someone is in a dangerous situation) or can mean a bad sports player (for example).
But, I have found the info that I posted and Goner could mean this record label in my message.

I think we're trying to work out the real name of MCF 6.

Just north of the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas, we have the town of Huntsville.
Just east of the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas, we have the town of Batesville... oh, oops, showers weren't mentioned!

Back to the map...

And on the like named theme:
while not in the Ozarks, these towns are east of Lake Ouachita,
we have Piney and Mountain Pine.

2 words, so I'm going for Arkansas Hurricane.

My favorite place name so far is
Devil's Den State Park in the Ozark National Forest in eastern Arkansas.

Haven't found anything that seems to be like named although a translation of
Wiederkehr Village
might shed some light.

Lots of 'villes' in Arkansas...

Wiederkehr means recurring or returning or anniversary. interesting.

There is a Ravenden and Ravenden Springs Arkansas in the Ozarks.

I too looked at the Google map of the Ozarks and the only name that sprang out at me was Huntsville but then I noticed that there are also two places called BATESVILLE which are about 130 miles away from each other, is that too far?

ok I also looked at google maps, not sure if i managed to locate the right area, but I found two small towns very close to eachother, one called 'charleston' and the other called 'charleston muni'
