I am currently playing Istanbul and the only cash purchase I have ever made is to increase from 3 lives to 5 lives. [Removed by Moderator]

I am in Hanoi after approximately two years of playing. I also have only spent $10 to increase my lives from 3 to 5. If you have really spent that much money, I recommend you quit now. Give the money you save to charity. I have over 18,000 coins and can assure you the game is not a fraud. It does take patience and strategy. I am 67 years old and certainly not a gamer. If I can succeed, so can anyone.

Hi there,

I wanted to pop in here and address the recent posts in this thread.

Lawanahilt, I'm sorry to hear that there is concern regarding progressing in this game. If you are having issues getting through certain levels, it is recommended to post in the designated city threads. Other players as well as the Moderation Team can help provide hints and suggestions without the purchase of additional items such as boosts. Please refer to the following link to the main directory:

Gummy Drop! City Directory - START HERE TO FIND LEVEL HELP

Thank you keitht53 and snowmanvt for mentioning that players can purchase the lift lifter in the Gummy Drop! store. It has been reported that players have benefited from this particular purchase.

I'd also like to remind users of the Forum Rules when posting, specifically,

Treat others with respect. Harassing, attacking, threatening, provoking, calling unwanted attention to, name-calling, insulting, or bothering other users, moderators, or Big Fish employees on the forums will not be tolerated. Play nice.

To help ensure that the forums are accessible to everyone who would like to participate, we ask that users not call unwanted attention to others or bother them. Please be respectful of how others play their games.

Thank you for your understanding. Feel free to PM any of the Active Moderators if you have any questions. We are happy to help in any way that we can.

The game can be played without spending real money. Apart from paying for increased lives I have got to Istanbul (on tablet) and Rio on PC by just using resources obtained by playing the game, and 'spending' the gold accumulated through play. It can take quite a while to work out the strategy required to get through some levels, but it is worth the effort.

I play on PC. I am a relatively new Gummy Drop player and only play intermittently. I went from Sydney to Tokyo and then got a chance to pick any city to play. I chose Paris. I had played only a few levels in Paris. When I logged in today, Paris was locked! I am confused. There was a boat of bricks waiting to be unloaded there, but I couldn't get to Paris to play. Any suggestions? Thank you, Jeanette

Hello jycc and keitht53,

Thank you both for taking the time to report what is happening in Gummy Drop! on PC. I just wanted to swim by real fast to provide a little assistance for issues reported here as well as some clarification and links for players who would like to know more about our free to play games. I'm also going to be sure to provide the steps for contacting our Support Team, just in case more assistance is necessary.

keitht53, thank you for taking the time to help other players with concerns that purchases are necessary to play Gummy Drop!. As stated, players don't need to spend real money to play the game and can earn in-game currency through normal play rather than spending money. For players that would like to know more about free to play games on our site, the following article can provide more clarification:

Free To Play Games

jycc, I totally understand wanting to know why Paris is no longer available after it was open for free for a limited time. Sometimes, cities become available for all players to visit and play for a limited time and it sounds like the time for Paris on this particular profile ran out. All of those resources that were earned and progress that was saved is still there, but since Paris is not available, it'll need to be unlocked either by playing cities until Paris unlocks or by spending the appropriate amount of travel vouchers to open it permanently. If a ship was sent to Paris, but hasn't been unloaded, you can absolutely recall that ship from the ships menu. It should return with those resources after recall. All of the previous progress made in Paris will still be there when you return.

I hope that helps clarify. If a player is encountering a technical issue and is seeking assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Gummy Drop! Support Team HERE. This page also has a search area for looking for help, just in case. Our Reps are always happy to help and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your patience. If there are any further questions, please feel free to PM me or any of our other active Moderators. We are all happy to listen and help out as best we can.

You can recall your ship from Paris, even though it is now locked, via the ship menu, located at the top of the long city menu to the right of the screen.

Hi there,

I just wanted to pop in here and thank eli173 for helping provide additional information to what bfgIlinalta mentioned. If players have a ship located at an event city, please keep in mind that they can be called back as mentioned in this thread. At the globe screen, tap on the icon to show the city list. Located at the top will be two tabs, one for the city list and another for your ships. This is where players can request that their ships return after using them in an event city.

If you find that you experience issues when trying to recall them back, please reach out to our Customer Support Team with your player ID and details of the issue. If you are able, please provide a screenshot of this ship menu tab. Just in case it's needed, I'll include help pages below:

What is an in-game ID?

Thank you for your patience everyone! Feel free to PM any of the Active Moderators if you have any questions. We are happy to help in any way that we can.

Just a few minutes ago, there was notice from Gummy Drop (playing on a PC) that stated increased rewards would be provided if I agreed to watch a movie, and a movie reel showed up at the bottom right hand side of the screen. I thought, "what the hell?" and clicked on it, but nothing happened and there was no increase and no movie. I'm a bit concerned that this was not a legitimate Gummy Drop add-on, and I might have clicked on something I shouldn't have...

Anyone.

From what I've heard, this is a feature of the mobile GD versions, which gives 10% more coins if you watch an ad video. I also play on PC and saw it twice yesterday, but there was no video as you say. I clicked on it anyway, and nothing happened. The second time it appeared though, I got the 10 %, ie I got 66 coins for a Master tier. Perhaps they are in the process of adding those videos to the PC version? I didn't think such a thing was possible, but who knows.

Hi Patchulie,

Thank you for taking the time to post what is being experienced in your Gummy Drop! game. I'm sorry to hear that after clicking on a video in your game, rewards aren't being received. Thank you eli173 for addressing the question presented. At this time, this feature isn't available on the platforms of Gummy Drop!, but the teams are working hard to bring new content to the players. We apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this may have caused. If any information is brought to our attention of the addition of this feature in it's entirety on the multiple platforms, we will update the forums to inform the players. There shouldn't be any concern for clicking on this within your game.

I hope this helps clarify. If you have any questions, feel free to PM any of the Active Moderators. We are happy to help in any way that we can.

Thanks, bfg and Eli. I was more concerned that I was clicking om something I shouldn't have. I see now that if you click on it a few times, it changes from "no video" to "10% increase".

Next question.... I have finished St. Petersburg and am waiting for new cities to become available. I'm playing the daily city challenges and going back and finishing some cities. Is there any estimate as to when new cities might be available foor a PC?

I confess - I am addicted, LOL!

You are lucky: you obviously haven't downloaded the January 31 update, which added 3 more cities! Look in your Game Manager for it.

Hi Patchulie,

I see that you have completed St. Petersburg. Congratulations! eli173 is right that the most recent update added 3 more cities. For more information, see the following announcement:

Update available for Gummy Drop! (PC) January 31, 2017

If you find that there is no update appearing after manually looking for it, please reach out to our Gummy Drop Support Team with a screenshot of what your game manager is showing. Just in case it's needed, I'll include a help page below:

Kaspersky has deleted GummyDrop.Exe as Malware. I am running Windows10. I found a link to an article on this thread - but the link is broken. Any help available?

The "infite life" lasts for only a couple or more hours, the number of which is depicted on each coin package. It starts running on real time as soon as the purchase is made, regardless of play time. So obviously yours expired without playing. This is also true of the infite life rewarded when you complete an event.

Hello AlbertaBound47 and Dolphin171965,

Thank you for your patience while waiting on a response. It sounds like there is an issue with the game being inaccurately scanned as malware as well as a question about the Infinite Lives promotion players can take part of when purchasing certain coin packages in the store. I wanted to swim by to see if I could help with both of these today, as well as provide the means to contact our Gummy Drop! Support Team should more assistance be wanted.

Dolphin171965, it totally makes sense to wonder why those infinite lives are not indefinitely active. eli173 is correct that the infinite lives are temporary, but do give you unlimited lives during that time period. This increment of time can be 2 hours, 3 hours, or up to 4 hours. This amount of time given for infinite lives is visible to the left side when making a purchase that includes a complimentary infinite lives boost.

Infinite Lives gives players an infinite number of lives during a limited time period, which begins to count down after it is received. This timer continues to count down even if not playing. I apologize if there was any confusion and hope this helps clarify that the infinite lives were for a period of time, not a purchase for lives indefinitely and permanently.

AlbertaBound47, I am sorry that message appeared and while our games are thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be virus or malware free, I'm glad that the security suite you are using made sure there wasn't any danger. When there is a security message such as what was experienced, what I recommend is contacting our Gummy Drop! Support Team after reading the following article so that our Reps can help with this further.

The following article talks more about the safety of our games and what to do when a message such as this one pops up about one of our games:

Virus Messages

By following that article's steps, we should be able to talk this over with the company to ensure that the game was identified as malicious unintentionally.

Thank you all for your patience. If there are any further questions, please PM any of our active Moderators. We are all happy to help.

Hi, I just finished Cairo. I had to reprogram my computer. When downloaded GD it went back to the 1st level. I am on a PC and I am not on Facebook. I got my other games back because I had the I.D.#. How does it work with Gummy Drops.

Hi shoooter9325,

Congratulations on completing a city in your Gummy Drop! game. I'm sorry to hear that after reprogramming your computer, your progress was set back to the beginning. For clarification, the PC version of Gummy Drop! doesn't contain social features such as Facebook. Since we don't have the tools to troubleshoot this issue from the forums, please reach out to our Gummy Drop Support Team with a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and details of where you should be located. The support team is always happy to help.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any of the Active Moderators.
