allwiredweird, hello and welcome to the Fish Pond. I looked at a couple of the games and don't see anything that gives an age recommendation. My suggestion would be that you download and play them yourself because you would be the best judge as to what is appropriate for them.
...I do have a couple of other thoughts. You can do a Google search for "kids games" to find sites that offer them. And, there are a lot of games on CD that are for children and most do include and age recommendation. I started my granddaughter on the computer with a game called Just Grandma and Me. It's a point and click story and is quite wonderful.
...There is one series I really enjoyed. It's by Reader Rabbit. Again, my granddaughter started playing those at a very young age. You can also Google The Learning Company and take a look at their site. They have products from many areas and again include age recommendations.
...I do recommend that you play the game yourself before you turn the kids loose with them. That way you'll be able to help when they need it. My grand and I spent many, many happy hours together playing games on the computer.

If you click on the icon on upper left, that will take you to the
home page and across the top is a row of tabs, there is one called kids games,
you should be able to find something you children would like
.
P.S.Try Fizzball, in the kids mode

Allwired, there is a series of "I Spy" hidden object games for the computer, just like the books, and they'd be perfect for your little ones. I'm an OB and even I loved them! I believe they're put out by Scholastic Games; if you can't find them there, just try Amazon.

Download Kidzui at their website. my kids love it! And it's really safe! There are a lot of places to find kids games there too! My youngest is five but she could have done this even younger. It's all age appropriate sights!

The Scruffs is listed under "Kids"- when aside from the cartoon graphics, and a coloring mini-game, which you can do or skip, this is not a kid's game. The objects are not that easily located

I agree that the objects are not that easy cspmbs. I think it is probably listed as "Kids" because the content of the game would be correct for children, and maybe because there are the kids in the family that talk with you. Anyway, might be worth a demo--some kids are better finding things than I am-lol!!!

Some of the games my grandson plays just blow me away at how adept they all are at learning fast and clicking everything to find out everything .they are a clever lot these kids these days.

Also listed is Can You See What I See? I found this game not all that easy either, of course I was trying not to use too many hints, but I played it for days and since the objects don't change, I played it til I could get through the whole thing without using any hints. Don't know why, but I was addicted to that game bad! But a 2,3 or 4 year old would have problems with it, at least in my opinion. Try the I-Spy series like GinaBean suggested is my a good idea!

The Diego or Dora series might work for that age group. You can always get the demos and see how they do with it. both have coloring pages you can print out too.
