... Had to use the treadmill for my walk. Getting a little rain this morning. More mist than rain but constant. Weatherman says it should clear in a couple of hours and temps should get to low 80s.
... Taking Mom to the grocery store this afternoon. A 20 minute task that will probably take about 2 hours. oh well. Maybe I should take a book to read.
... Prayers going out to all on my list. Hope everyone has a terrific Monday.

It's still hotter than heck here, already went and did my exercise in the pool.

I see my pulmonologist today, here's hoping we go off the steroids.

The best news though is I've got a job teeaching nursing classes at the local community college!!!!!!!! Of course you know that I will have to buy some new clothes!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Fishies
My day started as usual, up at 6, read the paper, checked the e-mails and then for some unknown reason I went and stretched out in my recliner and turned on the TV, the next thing I knew it was 2½hours later!!! I never do that unless I don't feel good So now my whole day is messed up. I did get a few little chores done before hubby got home from golf, now that lunch is over (left over chicken from yesterday) I'm going to play!!

Good morning everyone - got up late today (kids across the street partied until 4 or 5 this morning) and had my coffe (after I fed the dogs, of course).
Have a dental cleaning appointment today - that should be easy, nothing else going on.

It's cooling down in Seattle, we actually have some rain forecast for later in the week. Things coming back to normal around here.

Congratulations on the job, Lisa, that is good news, indeed. Funny, I had a dream last night about going for a job.... - must have gotten vibes from you!!

As Rentonwa said, it will only be in the mid 80s today. Still warmer than normal for Seattle, but better than yesterday's 92. Showers later in the week - ?!? - we haven't seen any real precipitation since -- can't remember when. We did have just a sprinkle or two when the Babes were here, but not even enough to drive everyone inside.. We just had to give them a little taste of what Seattle is known for.

Gonna go take my walk earlier than my usual mid-afternoon time, to beat the heat. I have a few errands to do, so I'll walk up to the shopping area to get them done. Then brats on the grill tonight, and corn on the cob, and salads left over from the weekend. Should be easy.

Lisa - congrats on the new job! That will keep you busy. I hope you will still have time for us!

Good afternoon everyone--late checking in. I was out of town yesterday, so didn't get to the pond at all. And, it was a busy morning at work so just taking a quick break to check a few posts now!!!

Looking forward to a quieter week than the last few. Hopefully, I'm home every evening except Wednesday! It was a little stormy earlier, but sunny, hot and humid now--they say around 90 for a high. Hmmmmm nanty and rent--did you send your heat our way!
