Game running slow

Hello. I am using windows 10 and my game has started to run slow. It is
barely playable in this condition. Has anyone had this happen to them and does anyone know how to correct this? victor1244

Every time I try to change my wish list the game freezes .

Thank you for taking the time to report issues found while playing Midnight Castle. It sounds like there are a few issues here and I just wanted to swim by real fast to provide some assistance as well as how to reach out to our Midnight Castle Support Team should more assistance be necessary.

Cyclechick1966, I'm sorry to hear that there has been crashing while playing the Kindle version of Midnight Castle. Some Kindle players have reported frequent crashing, and the teams behind the game are actively investigating why this may be happening for some of our players. Thank you for your patience while those teams investigate further. As soon as more information is provided to the Forum Moderation Team, we will be sure to provide an update in the forums.

victor1244, I'm sorry to hear that the game is running slow. There may be a few reasons this is happening, and the first thing I recommend is to ensure that all other programs that are not necessary be closed while playing Midnight Castle to see if that helps with the game running slowly. If that doesn't help, what I recommend is seeing if the following Windows 10 specific steps are able to help resolve that issue:

gillydi53, it sounds like the game is freezing at a specific point, and I'm sorry that it keeps doing that. What I recommend is seeing if the following steps are able to assist in resolving that or showing that more assistance may be necessary:

when I opened my game this morning it went to an update. when it was done it said that it could not open and I should try later. So I tried later and now my whole game is gone and it has started me brand new. I was at a level 76 with a "blank" load of stuff. I don't know the new ID number you gave me when I got this new computer just have my old one.

I'm sorry to here that after opening your game due to an update message, your game progress was gone and Midnight Castle started a brand new game. Since we don't have the tools to access your game and look into this for you from the forums, please reach out to our Midnight Castle Support Team with your original player ID and if a new player ID appears. If you are able to provide an approximation of your currency, avatar and profile name of your original game, that would be helpful as well.

Help!
Need advice from anyone who feels they are an expert at windows 10.

I glanced at my windows power button and today the only options are
"update and restart", "update and power off" or "sleep"

I DO NOT WANT TO DO ANY WIN10 UPDATE with all the players who have lost their games following a win10 update!

Am happy to leave the computer on...but what if there is a power blip that forces a restart?? (Thunderstorms in the forecast!)

Help, please!

WOW, FEEL LIKE I JUST DODGED A BULLET!

Woke up and thought to peek at the game and do some quick gifting then back to bed...am wide awake now!
Computer had little announcement for me that Updates were installed! Noted a 'click for more info' in task bar.
Quickly opened game and TADA...MY LEVEL AND INVENTORY ARE INTACT!!!

Just in case it is helpful to others, am posting details of the updates.
Oh, and there are two links at the top of my Microsoft notice: "Uninstall Updates" and "Recovery Options"

Easiest way around this problem:
Click the minus sign to delete an item from your list, then immediately close your social page.
Go back in and now add new item.
Repeat.

HI,
my game crashed last December and brought me back to the beginning (level 1) - everything I had won/earned in the course of over 18 months had vanished. I contacted Customer Support, who were able to restore most of my progress (unfortunately not the achievements and many avatars).
I am ever so grateful to the Support team for their diligent and efficient help, but have noticed one thing since then: the "Detective Bogart" avatar remains locked, even though I have long since again completed the achievement for which it is a reward.
Is there anything I can do about this, or should I contact CS again?

need help please, i had finished the castle challenge, won my avatar ,
got on to play game today and it wasn't there, everything i had played after has been lost, worked so hard to get that challenge done

I'm sorry to hear that progress was lost or has been recently lost while playing Midnight Castle. We absolutely don't want players to have to start over or catch back up if we can help it and for both of these reports, I want to provide the steps for receiving further assistance from our Midnight Castle Support Team.

cloudlady, for this case, I would reply directly to the last reply that was sent from our Reps. This should reopen that request, so be sure to let them know that you would like to try to unlock that specific avatar. Our Reps will be sure to get back in touch with what they are able to help with. If you are unable to reply to that request, be sure to send a new one with the steps below, minus supplying the old Friend Code for the original progress. Thank you for your patience while working with our Reps to restore that progress.

Scolon18, I'm sorry that the game seems to have lost progress. What we recommend for this issue is contacting our Midnight Castle Support Team. Be sure to provide the original progress's Friend Code if it is available, the current Friend Code being seen, as well as any other information that may help with finding the old progress that was made such as username and level for the progress. Our Reps are always happy to help out and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible to follow up.

The Update that is messing up everyone.s game is Windows 10 Creators Update.
If you have wifi you can delay the update by changing your connection to metered connection. However it will only delay the update

Mine seem to be working fine.

Heard some players have seen a delay between opening each friends' spring room.


If restarting game doesn't help, time to contact customer support and perhaps pm a mod.
