The $64,000 question is... How to create more rooms and thus more furniture without creating more special events and YES, more special events will mean even less time to complete gnome quests.....

I don't know how they are going to resolve this issue... It didn't/doesn't make sense to me.... (yet)..... why they would make achievements that compete against each other....

I can't see any reason why the Gnome DQ's can't be made available during special events along with the special event DQ's, creating a multi-tasker's paradise.

I can see how they "could" resolve some of the issues they've created..... Rooms without special events... and/or special events using the gnome instead of special one-part daily quests.... I think they are easy fixes.... but, they haven't done it... YET.... I can only go by what they've done in the past, and to date, what they've done in the past, has caused conflicts between special events and gnome quests....

To date, it makes me feel like they want you to play every day for the rest of your life.... which, is fine, if that is how someone wants to spend the rest of their life... I have other plans and why some of these achievements, no longer mean anything to me....

I'm suggesting that during special events we continue to receive the gnome quests IN ADDITION TO the special event daily quests. The only overlap between the two types of DQ's is during the Spring event when some of the DQ's asked us to craft wreaths or cakes.

If the gnome quests were still available during special events, I would have no objection to the addition of 1 more special event, preferably during the (Northern Hemisphere's) summer to break up the long period between the spring and Fall events.

Tirama Sue,

Thankyou!!!! You gave me exactly what I wanted - the technical answer.

So no more gifts than 5 at once. Understood.

However.... 4 six hourly allotments would be possible, thus increasing the daily gifting quota to 20.

Believe me, the last thing I want is bugs in the system, but if the work has already been done...

That would be great.

Cheers,

Jenifer

I am sure that this has been brought up before. Please, please, please reduce the amount of Trina quests from the 5,000 listed as an achievement. Even if you could do two of her quests per day that is 2,500 days! That is more than 6.8 years!
Thank you.

Any chance we can get a store or something so that we could buy things like stamps. I keep needing crazy amounts of whatever the stamp is that is most rare, and costs 80 diamonds a pop. Please?

Swtdreamanewhope,

Try adding the stamp to your wish list if you haven't already done so. There are achievements involving each of the stamps and other players will swap with you. I know swapping means you give also, but you'll find the number you have will build up. I will PM you for info so I can invite you if we're on the same platform.

7 years? And who bothers to do her quests that often? Could easily be a 50 year quest! Yep....insane.

This can't be said enough! Trina's quests are utterly ridiculous and not worth pursuing for so little rewarded.

I just ran into this problem during the CE because I received so many friend request. Is it possible to put a scrollbar in the mailroom. I try to gift in the order I receive them. However, I can't always do this because I receive more mail than I can see on my screen. I'm in the Android version. This would be helpful in being equitable in gifting throughout the year. Thanks.

Please add the option to pay one diamond to skip a DQ.

No more than one diamond, because we might not like the next one any better!
.....................
eta: and by "skip" I mean get rid of the one we see and move on to the next..without waiting 24 hours.

THANKS

Now that we have amulets to reduce/delete cool time for the HOS, could the dice table and airship be included, pretty please.

It is a bit annoying to be sprinting through a DQ only to come to a screeching halt half way through because another airship is needed, or the dice table quota has just been used on the previous DQ.

I know I can bring the airship back for 4 diamonds, which is reasonable, but 12 for the dice table?

It would be fairer if everything was included, after all those amulets are hard to get.

For me it would be great so see from where my friends are coming.

Can´t we place a nations flag by our avatar in friends list please?

Ofcourse we too have a threat with this question - but not all player come to the forum.

And thank you for the new timer by lucky wheel - playing free 2x / day is great .-
Sorry - this option today (01/24) already is over - timer again by 24 hours

I think, this helps the beginner to save a little bit money by searching for special items.
For me in lucky wheel it would be great to have a surprise option, where we not before can see what is it and in this option the wilnner can get such rare things like
older special event avatars or tournament-avatars - I think, the computer sees, who already has such items and find an other surprises for such player.

Bye, Yvi

Fix the logic that generates what the airships request and which Daily Quest arrives at the start of a new day.

There's no way a player should be receiving the same DQ as they received the day before (and the day before that) when midnight GMT rolls around. There's 24 DQ's. How hard would it be to write code that required that 36 - 48 hours had to pass before the same DQ would be issued?

Same thing with the airships. No way ship after ship should be asking for the same 3 items (and always wanting more of the item a player has the least of).

Okay so here is a pretty big idea, happy to accept any feedback positive or negative - but hopefully constructive.

The idea is a SHOP.

Now we buy diamonds and coins with real money, I am not in any way trying to cut into that.

The SHOP would have two (or more later) functions.

1. Stamp trade:

Lets assume that all stamps are valued by the plain stamp.

1 Unique Stamp = 30 plain stamps
1 Rare Stamp = 15 plain stamps
1 Unusual Stamp = 5 plain stamps

Now this, of course, would play in reverse - meaning cashing in one Unique Stamp would get you 30 plain stamps. You could then use those stamps to trade for rare or unusual stamps, or just keep the plain. No one is going to spend 80 diamonds to buy a Unique Stamp. It's just wish list clutter. Stamps are the one thing we have no control over - if we need inventory for a quest, the 'find' button gets it. The same cannot be said for stamps. I, personally, have a VERY uneven number of stamps in that the 'unusual' number in the 200's while the plain are less that 30. Everyone complains about stamps - this could be a solution.

2. Amulets.

The 'Shopkeeper' would assign a series of tasks or quests, randomly chosen from the Castle to ensure everyone at all levels can play. Similar to a ten part gnome DQ - but there is no time limit. The amulets could be delivered to the 'Shop' separate from a major update, which would give the level 74's something new to do.

Ideas for amulets are : 2X Gold for an hour; No cooldown between 5 slot gifting shifts; Half cooldown for Airship, Dice Table, Roulette and Fortune Wheel; and one hour of nothing but pure inventory - no coins or shards.

Any new amulet ideas could be added to the 'Shop' at any time.

Just some ideas, love to hear some feedback.

Cheers,

Jenifer

I like these ideas!
I would add an option to purchase inventory with shards - the amount of shards you would get for disenchanting that item would be appropriate.

MC has been available since 2013/14 and has a large & fantastic fan base. Many early players continue to wander the halls waiting for even the smallest of updates to resume their passion. A web search makes it clear that there are no games out there like MC: HOG, free, ongoing & open ended.

So, how about a new game? I am by *no* means advocating abandoning MC or halting its progress; ever! However, I'm so addicted I'd like another similar game(s) to play & enjoy as well. I'd even be willing to pay for the new game up front were it free like MC after that initial payment.

Look how much you developers have learned about this game as you've changed it & added to it over the past few years. Developing a new game could/would incorporate all of that knowledge + new ideas & changes you've not been able to incorporate into MC because of the programming nightmares that would ensue.

Everyone using the Forum will have their own ideas as to a theme for a new game. My personal favorite would be perhaps a Space Odyssey along the lines of Pohl's "Heechee Saga" or maybe Niven's "Ringworld"? I expect the artwork would be fun to draw & fantastically visual to behold. Will be fun to enjoy the speculation of ideas for themes others desire as well. There is no end to creativity in this world.

Thank you for MC. Please don't stop expanding this beautiful experience any time soon. You've created a wonderful place in which to escape for a little while each day.

Thank you LadyMadison. I have been waiting for another similar game based on MC popularity for quite awhile. I have over 1,000 keys from doing quests from active characters so all I do now is the DQ's. Another game would be a breath of fresh air. The Dev's have shown they have great imaginations. If Elephant Games did the game they could use all the same inventory and concentrate on developing new hos's. I would buy the game in a heartbeat if the game was played the same way as MC. The games could possibly be connected so we could use some inventory we have crafted in the Castle but can't use. This could eliminate the boredom and a lot of complaining. Just sayin'.

Well we know that the Moderators read all these posts and perhaps the Developers read them too. There is some dialogue between them and occasionally in the past our concerns have been dealt with.

My topic for discussion:
The regular DQs: 500 of each of the three to be finished before getting the three Achievements (which some of us strive to accomplish!)
I have seen it written elsewhere here that 1500/365 is only 4 years if you do one DQ per day and 2 years if you do two.
But that is incorrect. We only have about 30 weeks in the year available for these regular DQ; the rest of the time is taken up with the seasonal events.
Also they seem to me to balance out as a ratio of approximately 2:1:1 (for 3:5:10 items in the DQ). So the true figure is 2000/300= 7 years for one DQ!
Fortunately we now have the Amulets so can rush through doing them for one hour without waiting for the HOS to recharge.
I have now done this for 5 days and each time I have completed at least 2 of the 10-part DQ and a total of 5 DQ in that one hour.
So the new formula is 2000/300*5= 1.5 years.
Unfortunately there is a snag! Each Gold amulet requires 100 diamonds if you don't have the 20 Energy Globes!
BFG of course are happy to sell you those with real money!

This problem of doing more 3 part DQ than is necessary would be alleviated by the suggestion made above by aborting the unwanted DQ with the payment of a diamond or two.

I think a bigger snag is the need for the airship items. All the 10-part DQ's require sending the airship and most of them have 2 parts that require sending the ship. For level 74 players, that's 80 to 100 plus items per ship. I can't consistently send 3 or 4 airships per day.

I haven't been receiving twice the amount of 3 part quests in either of my games, but I have completed more of them than of the 5 and 10 part quests, probably because they can be completed quicker, and as we approach the start of a new game day, there's just not enough hours left to complete the new 5 or 10 parter that shows up.
