Hi. Remember the glitch that shut down private rooms and wish lists? Well, not only is a sizable chunk of my friends' list still suffering from that, now I can't send things to people who ARE active and who DO have wish lists! I tried to send something today to someone on my friends' list, and, after a moment of struggle, it looked like it had been sent. But when I went back to the social page to see if a second person could receive a gift (they couldn't, as it turned out), lo and behold, the person that I had gifted not five minutes before was showing as not having been sent anything.

Also, because I have a new computer (with Windows 10), I cannot download or delete any demos or games through my own account. I have to download and delete demos and games with my admin account. This is annoying.

I'm sorry to hear that is happening with the PC version of Midnight Castle. In this particular instance, I think the best thing to do is to contact our Support Team with details of what is occurring so they can help investigate that with you.

I recommend contacting our Midnight Castle Support Team with your Friend Code and a description of what has occurred. Our Reps are always happy to help out and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible.

We definitely want our players to make use of the gifting feature and would definitely like to investigate why this may be occurring. I completely understand wanting to get your game's progress transferred to a new computer. The Midnight Castle Support Team can certainly do that if they have both the old game's and the new game's Friend Codes. If you contact them and include that information in your inquiry, they'll be able to provide further assistance.

I have downloaded a new version of the game.

Still playing as Ezmerelda Player ID 689231 (New game)
Was playing as Ezmerelda Payer ID 311708 (Old Game)

I am looking forward to getting back to the Castle. So addictive!!!

Help!!! I was on Level 32 this AM. I just opened the game and it began downloading , then stopped, announced it was having trouble, suggested I try later. Just now opened the game and I am at the very beginning again! AAAAGGGHHH! I've lost everything... Can I get it back?? This is not a new computer. This is a PC, Windows 10, old version, name is Mausey, # 650315

Before I start, welcome to the forums as well as apologies that progress appears to have been lost. We definitely don't want any of our players to have to start over and I'd like to provide the steps necessary to take to get help from our Support Team.

Since that progress appears to have been lost, I recommend contacting our Midnight Castle Support Team with the original progress' Friend Code as well as the Friend Code that is showing on the new device or is currently being displayed.

If you are unable to provide that Friend Code, please provide as much information about your previous progress as possible including the username, level earned, items obtained, avatars and pets gained, and what approximate amount of coins and diamonds did the progress have available. Our Reps are always happy to help out and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible.

I just played the game for 2 and 1/2 hours or so......................I am on Level 78 and I wanted to get energy balls in order to get the EAST all finished and ready to go plus pickup some air bus items since they are in short supply. I logged out of the game and then about 10 minutes ago, I noticed the time. I logged back in so that I could gift my friend list since it was NOW the next day for Midnight Castle.......imagine my surprise, anger & grief to find out that the 2 and 1/2 hours were deleted.......I was right back to my starting point....I had accumulated over a 100 energy balls and now I am back to only 92 ...a wasted afternoon

I am astounded that my progress has been lost = and deeply chagrined
As of 7/31
Level 78, All achievements except Tournament Topper (only needed one more before you stopped that part), still need to complete: 3's a crowd 446, 5 stars 479, you're a 110 484, Pet prepared 2256, food frenzy4 683, key master 4772, ace assistant 2773, cozy cubby 29, furniture finder 40, magic miser 58527,Stamp 1st collector 97, had used 9 Amulets so only need to uses 1 more to gain level one....and had over 10 hours of amulets waiting to be used. Over 2,500,000 in coin of the realm and over 8000 diamonds, 586 pet medallions, thousands of stamps - all four colors, 179 golden keys, have played all mini challenges and global quests, and have every pet available, multiples of every egg with sales value of 280,860 (my nest egg), 215 gift boxes, 5012 destiny keys, and enough pet food sequestered to feed each pet twice . I have played over 62,186 HOS. This does not consider the additional rewards for 8/1 thru 8/11 that I earned playing every day nor can I begin to reiterate the numbers on 29 pages of ZZ and HOS items, and 3 pages of crafted items, air ship items, etc. etc.
AND YOU'RE SORRY BUT THAT INFORMATION HAS BEEN LOST
Talk about being back to a starting point. Check your records, I have been an active and loyal customer of Big Fish. The same thing happened to me on Found when I got a new computer 4 or 5 years ago. I'm sorry too, I think I have grounds for divorce.

It sounds like in both of these instances, progress was lost. While we would love to be able to resolve issues such as this from our forums, we are unable to do so since we are not equipped with the tools necessary in the forums to work with individual accounts and provide restoration for their progress. I wanted to swim by with how to receive additional assistance from our Support Team so they can help restore as much of that lost progress as possible.

Any time a player loses progress in Midnight Castle, we recommend contacting our Midnight Castle Support Team with your original progress' Friend Code, the new Friend Code you are seeing now or would like to transfer the progress to. If you are unable to provide the original progress' Friend Code, please provide as much information about the account as possible, including avatars earned, items obtained, current level, the username, pets earned, and the approximate amount of diamonds and coins on the progress. Our Reps are always happy to help out and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible.

This is a very minor issue, but, for over a year, I've noticed that the room descriptions on the expedition notes are switched for the Throne Room and the Ice Rock (aka "small neglected garden"?). I expected it to be fixed in subsequent updates, but never happened.

Is there a technical issue with the big knight blocking the door in the castle entry? I fully expected to go to the upper floors of the castle since I watched a video on YouTube a while ago showing someone getting rid of that knight. Unless it was a faked..

Thank you for your patience while waiting on a response. It sounds like there are some room descriptions getting switched as well as difficulty passing the large knight blocking the door to the castle.

For the room descriptions, that's odd to see. What I recommend in this case is to take some screenshots of these particular instances to provide to our Midnight Castle Support Team. If you'd like some steps on taking a screenshot for this game, the following article may assist:

How do I take a screenshot? (Computer)

For the knight, after a certain point in the game, players are able to click on the area over his shoulder to continue past the knight to the rest of the castle. This should allow you to the upper floors. If you are seeing something say you need to be a higher level, or a number saying you're unable to access a particular area, you may need to level up a bit before accessing that new zone.

If you are still unable to move past the knight to the rest of the area behind the knight, please feel free to contact us above with a screenshot of the scene you are seeing trouble with and your Friend Code. Our teams will be sure to follow up as soon as they can to assist with that.

.I have been playing this game for a long time.I had a virus on my computer and when they fixed it, they wiped my computer clean. I do not want to start all over again so hw can I get my old game back? My Id is 218684. Can you help me?

Welcome to the forums! It's good to meet a new player. I can definitely answer your question.

The Moderation Team doesn't receive news about when the game will be updated until the new content is ready to be published. As soon as we receive word of a new update, we announce it here in the forums. The reason the teams behind the game don't set a release date is become numerous elements can influence when new content will be ready. This way, there isn't disappointment if a new update is pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances.
