Great review as usual Gogii told me about this game a year ago and said it was in the works. I loved the other one so much and was waiting. That part about holding down the mouse does sound like a pain. The other parts you mentioned about the game sound great. I will give it a try anyways, and just do mouse finger exercises for that holding down the mouse part. Thanks Squirrely! God bless

I really enjoyed this game. There are 12 Chapters total and I got through Chapter 6 after my hour was up. There are 100 bells in the whole game that you need to find and I got 60 of them (5 per room- sometimes if you go back to the same room you need to find the 5 again), so I think it is a fairly good length of gameplay. This is playing without the dialog (hitting skip any chance I got.) I did play most of the mini games. Sometimes you do have to pay attention to the story such as for some of the mini game word searches so I had to skip because I didn't know certain names to search for.
Enjoyed the different clues to find instead of the usual object list. Also, I enjoyed the mini game where you figure out which word goes where in your article.
It is a bit of a challenge to link objects to create a chain, but if you don't want to do it, you don't have to! It's just for an extra gameplay element if you want it.
Debating whether to buy or not, but it was an entertaining hour that went by fast!

I had a lot of FUN with this Valerie Porter!
Here are some of the things I like:
I like the suspense in the story.
There are many things to find in the a scene - batteries, bells, hidden object things and clues that leads to the story along.
I thought the voice acting is really good and music is very good. I will buy them if they are on iTunes.
The hint to find objects are clever, made me feel smart so I love them!
Connecting objects together are fun, when I spot them. Can't spot them all the time but I could still click on them one at a time.
Love the mini-game where I assemble the headlines.
I skipped the story writing.
Overall,

I think I am going to enjoy this game after 30 minutes of the demo. Had to stop and clean up my own room mess LOL. I liked the features and tasks mentioned above. Fun gathering up all her clothes, then doing her makeup from inventory.
It's nice to find items that the characte needs to go on with her mission, rather than the usuall picking up someone else's trash flung in piles. Kinda feels more like being involved in the story. Except of course male boss wanting her to tidy up his, but items like breakfast tie in with the next minipuzzle. Continuity there screen to screen.
Will finish the demo and put on "probably" list. Don't want t buy too fast like I did last month before seeing what other new offering to follow for my Novest.
Going back then to ty to finish some of all these Oct games waiting.
 My speed, easy, relaxing, fresh.

Forgot to add that it downloaded quite smoothly on Vista laptop, no errors and no glitches so far on the demo. Loaded fine on XP desktop now. That feels almost like bonus when things work normally afte so many buggy games recently. I don't remember how many games I didn't buy that I may have liked in Sept-Oct after seeing how much troubleshooting others were going through, not worth the time or trouble.
Looks fine on my 15" monitors too for those other squinters like me.
one more thumbs up for ease of DL and visibility, that makes 5.

From the demo it seems like a pretty neat game. My only hesitation is the length. Based on my Demo time it seems like it could be pretty short.
