So yesterday there were 2 items to d/l every time you entered the game.

Today it is 1 item to d/l ---- and it takes quite a bit longer. Does it every time you enter the game.

Yes, I have it exactly the same. until yesterday there were 2 items, now it is one. I tried to open and close game few times, it does it each time when it opens.

 

problems after update 02/06/18

Mine does almost the same thing. It downloads again every time I play and it takes longer to bring the game up. Also when I try to send a gift to friends the game freezes and when I go to friends rooms it freezes and I have to reload it. Please help.

I am also having the issue of game manager app closing have to restart pc then when I try to open game again it starts downloading something

My issues are the same since the update (which updated just fine in a matter of minutes, now every time I try to play it tries to go through the update process then freezes and I have to restart my computer. If anyone has received an answer can you post on this forum, I am sending issues to Customer Support but they have been known to take days to respond or not to respond

I'm sorry to hear that there's been trouble after the recent update. It sounds like you may be seeing the content download window despite there being no update to download. For more details about this issue, please see our announcement below:

An Important Announcement Regarding the Content Download Display Issue - February 7, 2018

If playing on a non-broadband connection, the game may not be frozen, but may be checking for a download that isn't there and is taking longer than usual due to the above issue. So, my first suggestion is to see if this screen will change on its own after some time has passed.

This screen should disappear on its own relatively quickly since there isn't a download after the recent update, but if the game continues to get stuck here or you are unable to play, please reach out to our Midnight Castle Support Team so our Reps can investigate this further and provide that information to the right teams. Please also include your Friend Code, which will help our teams look further into what might be happening. Our Reps will be sure to follow up as soon as they can.

I too am experiencing issues of freezing while trying to gift, or when I change my Wish List.

The other thing I've noticed is that although I haven't opened the chest in my personal room since last night, as of this morning it was saying it was locked. I tried again tonight, same thing. The airship had 3 hours left before returning this morning, when I logged on this evening, it says it will return in 1 1/2 hours!

i also keep getting 1 update i play on pc and broadband this effects the game because hos will be stuck at 1 hour airship 4 hours dice game 12 hours etc .....not good

I contacted the support team 2 days ago still have heard nothing but I know it can take a bit. Just wanted to add.... some times the download does only take a few minutes or so than I can play but the last few times after the download disappears it shows the game loading up to 99% then freezes and I have to reboot, this goes on for 2-3 times in a row before I can play. Also last night when I was able to play when I click on an item in a HOS the game freezes and I have to reboot so it starts all over with the download-freeze-reboot-download-tries to load and freeze at 99%

Update video card driver (Computer)
Run as Administrator (Computer)

Should the game still not run properly after trying those suggestions, then please contact our Midnight Castle Support Team. They're the best equipped to continue troubleshooting with you. I also want to assure you that the teams behind the game are aware of this matter and are working together to find a fix.

I appear to have suddenly lost 26 friends. I had 87, now I have 61. Not random, either. My friend list runs up to the letter R, and ends. No friends whose IDs start with letters S-Z.

And the download thing continues, too.

Have you allowed at least ten minutes, after starting up MC, to go into your Friends List. I have over 200 friends and unless I wait at least 20 minutes, after starting MC, my friends list will not be complete.

I am also seeing the repeated Download message, and I thank you for the update. I am, though, becoming very frustrated with the 99% Loaded, and then MC hangs, issue.

I know this has been going on for years now, but it has become even worse since the last mini-update. I am now finding that I have to reboot my PC, each time, before MC will start properly.

I have just opened MC for the second time today, having last played over an hour ago, expecting that my scenes will be available to play again, and the timing seems to be continuing since I last closed the game. i.e. when I left there was 45 minutes to wait until I could play again, just gone in and still 45 minutes until I can play again. Anyone else experienced this?

Since the last update my friends rooms intermittently appear and disappear. They are never all gone but there are gaps. My friend list shows all my friends and none have yet been gifted.

My HOS timers count down to 3 minutes and than jump back up to 6 to 10 minutes. They do this several times per HOS. On average it is taking 83 minutes for a 60 minute cool down.

I am using an absurd amount of diamonds to allow an HOS scene to finish cooling down.

I see I’m not the only one having problems.

On Wed, I played a few HOS before gifting anyone. There was no indication that there had been an update, everything looked the same as it always does

When I started gifting my friends, I noticed several were at level 83/84.
BF Game Manager is set for Automatic updates, but sometimes I have to download them manually.
I finished gifting then closed the game, clicked on Options > downloads tab > Game updates > changed to Manually & clicked check for updates > window said “No updates” Seemed odd.
Clicked on ‘Play Again’ - No download, Game opened, & I saw the Castle Vicinity, Tavern, etc. looked as if they had been attacked by some terrorist group!

Since the Update:
# 1. Whenever I click on Midnight Castle -
Play message comes up “Download in Progress - Total Progress 0/1 - 0%
downloaded” after 9-10 seconds windows reads “Download complete”.
The bar, indicating download progress, does reflect anything has happened.

# 2. At least once a day after gifting someone, game pauses, it says “Please Wait”
(for several seconds) & then seems fine.

#3. A couple of times, my friend’s rooms disappear - when I close then & re-open
they display.

# 3. For the past 2 days (Feb 10 & 11), after quitting the game, a window opens to
notify me the “Big Fish game manager has stopped working”.

# 4. When I go to Help > Forum, my computer/game pauses/freezes for a few
moments.

Is there any progress. or suggestions, on how to resolve these problems?
