Hi, I've been playing MC on my sister's PC (Game name Sparky and Friend Code is 710958) and am only at Level 19. I just went to my private room and purchased each of the books for 1 shard each in all the rooms, including the new Christmas Room 2 and it didn't count toward the Achievement for the Clever Monkey. It still shows zero.

Just wanted you to know the glitch fixed during the winter event must still be happening!

I'm also putting in a ticket with Customer Support.

Thank you for taking the time to report the experiences you've had while playing Midnight Castle on PC. As a reminder, there is a display issue that was introduced in the last update that makes a content download window appear where nothing is downloaded. This is known by our teams and is being investigated. For further information regarding this issue, please see our announcement below:

An Important Announcement Regarding the Content Download Display Issue - February 7, 2018

Other issues appear to have been reported, and I wanted to follow up on them below. Some players report that friends appear to be missing. If there are a lot of friends on your Friend List, or if you have a slower connection speed, it might take some time before all of those friends populate in the list. It might be a good idea to wait some time before checking those friends again, just in case it just required a bit more time to load them. They should load after some time, but if not, don't hesitate to contact our teams using the steps below.

If you are seeing the cooldowns for a puzzle, hidden object scene, or otherwise not count down properly or seem to increase in time while playing, please contact our Support Team below and provide them details of what you are seeing. We would definitely like to investigate any reports where cooldowns are not working appropriately.

Furthermore, players who are seeing achievements not tally work made towards those achievements should reach out to our Support Team with a screenshot of the specific achievement that didn't get updated and a description of what wasn't counted for that achievement. Please also include your Friend Code, if available.

If you find that the above suggestions don't seem to help, have a separate issue, or need to receive further assistance due to an above suggestion, please don't hesitate to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with your Friend Code and the details of what is occurring. Our Reps will be sure to follow up as soon as they are able to do so.

Thanks for the update about the problems with the last update.

For those who seem to be missing friends, I had that issue on my PC game with one of the earlier game updates, but the friends did come back after I rebooted my PC.

On my PC game, often about half of my friends aren't there when I first get into the game (I have over 50 friends there). So my routine is to visit my private room to collect a chest, scroll through friend rooms to collect a chest in one of those, and then go to my list of friends. By that time all of my friends are showing so I can send my gifts.

In case the extra info helps resolve tech issues: with the last download I do get the constant download screen even though there is nothing to download on both my PC game and my Kindle games. On the PC game, it doesn't matter whether I load it from the Big Fish Game Manager or from the Windows icon, the download screen still comes up. Thanks for working on it, I look forward to the fix.

click on HELP from top right of this page
then MORE
then CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT
then SUBMIT A REQUEST (in blue off to the right of that page)

Type in your request to transfer your original game.
They will need BOTH your old and new player id numbers AND your email address.

You'll get an email that feels like an impersonal form letter, but you must REPLY to that email and repeat your issue or they will close the trouble ticket.

They can transfer your old game with its current: level, diamonds, items, coins etc....the bad part is your friends don't transfer.

After customer support helps you, you can invite friends back with your NEW id number.

Completed the Day 6 Castle Challenge task yesterday (with considerable difficulty). Logged in today and all that progress has been lost and I have to do the task again. I also seem to have mysteriously lost a large number of Unique Stamps again (last time it was 50+ this time just the 10 or so). I never sell stamps or give them away (sorry friends) so the only way to lose them is through using them to craft something or a system glitch. This happened to anyone else? 697817

The Game keep's freezing and glitching and the download thingy come's on everytime I open the game

Thank you for your patience while waiting on assistance with technical issues being reported for the PC version of Midnight Castle. Before I start, thank you to our players who have provided some suggestions. I want to swim by real fast to provide some other suggestions as well as another way to reach out to our Support Team if there is difficulty doing so from within the game itself.

Players have reported seeing a content download window appear while trying to play since last update. This is known by the teams behind the game and is currently under investigation. As soon as we hear more information regarding the status of this investigation, a moderator will be certain to update our announcement regarding this. You can see our announcement for this issue below:

An Important Announcement Regarding the Content Download Display Issue - February 7, 2018

Players seeing the game crash on PC may be helped by the following suggested steps:

Crashing, freezing, game won't open (Computer)

Players who are noting that the game is crashing at this point despite trying those steps are encouraged to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with details of what they are experiencing, and their Friend Code if available. Our Reps will be sure to follow up as soon as possible.

Rodley, I'm sorry to hear that there seems to have been a loss of items. I recommend contacting our teams using the above steps, but also include what items appear to have been lost as well as what happened before and after noticing this loss. I was playing game when a window popped up saying - Something's Afoot....
Need to Restart Game. Restarted game, got the same thing about update downloading.....

When I got back to the Castle, there were no noticeable changes that I could find.

Is this more of the same thing?

I, too, keep getting downloads every time I sign on. It is 0/1 and takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute then the game loads. I just had my game restored by the wonderful Catrina at tech support and it would be a total bummer if it happens again. I am seriously thinking of taking screen shots once a week of everything so I know what I have and what is lost.

Hopefully this constant 1 download will be fixed. For the first time tonight I had a message while playing about another download and the game had to restart for the update. It did and the same thing happened. A 0/1 download and then the game loaded.

This download screen is getting really annoying. Every time I go to play I have to wait for the 'download'. Very frustrating as I have more than one game and I have to wait for each one!!

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for letting us know your experiences while playing the PC version of Midnight Castle. I just wanted to swim by real fast to let players know that the issue where a content display window appeared but there was no download had a resolution sent out to all of our players.

Players do not need to visit the app store where the game was downloaded, nor have the Big Fish Games app find an update, as this should occur and update the game by downloading within the game from the server. Players can open the game and receive this latest change which should help resolve the issue. For more details, please see our updated announcement here:

Players who continue to see the content download window after seeing the game download this latest fix from within the game are encouraged to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with details of what was seen and experienced while that content was downloaded from within the game and what happened after that was applied and the game started. While this not a much of a problem, it is a technical issue.

On Wed, at 8 PM, I removed all the items from my wish list - I need to catch up.

Thurs morning I received a gift.
Thurs evening, around 7:30 I received another gift from a different friend

Today, Fri, still catching up, so no list.
I just received another gift from the same friend who gifted me Thurs evening.

The constant downloading has stopped, so thank you to all those tech folks for their hard work.

I did have the download issue & also, the one about it needed to restart because there is something afoot.

But what I have notices since all of these problems is when I feed my pets mostly all I'm getting is stamps & coins. I will occasionally get an item I need for a quest but not very often. Is anyone else noticing this? Or, am I the only "lucky one"! LOL! And, when I do a HOS, I'm mostly getting coins.

BaywayJ: Thank you for taking the time to leave this message. The teams behind the game work really hard to resolve unforeseen issues like the download screen as quickly as possible, and it means so much to hear from players like yourself.

jEMSW: I also want to acknowledge and thank you for your kind message. I'll certainly pass it along to the Midnight Castle developers. It also sounds like gifts are being sent to you even though there aren't items on your list. Investigating what's allowing this to happen will take more resources than are available to us in the forums, so please submit a ticket to our Midnight Castle Support Team. Be sure to include your game's Friend Code with the inquiry, too.

BillyeLH: The items that pets return with are randomized and have different drop rates. The randomization means that there's no way to predict what gifts your pet will bring you. The different drop rates mean that some of those items are more common than others. I wish you and your pets the best of luck going forward!

Thank you, bfgBeruna for your response. I didn't make my message very clear. Sorry! I realize that the drop rate is random but since the problems with the download message, the random isn't really being random as it usually is. That saying, I mean that usually you will get coins & stamps mixed in but it isn't being random. I'm getting coins & stamps all the time with maybe a item thrown in every 5 or 6 feeding. That is not normal! Or, at least, it hasn't been the case in all the time I have been playing. I hope this clears up what I'm trying to say.
