......... Hi Everyone!! Really foggy this morning. And gray. Can barely see the house across the street. Driving was definitely a challenge. Being early, there wasn't much traffic thank goodness.
... Had a great time last night when the girls and I met for supper. The boyfriend was basically a nice guy but I could see that DGD is not serious about him. She likes him but the chemistry isn't there. So, I don't think she'll date him for very long.
... Waiting for my hazelnut coffee to finish brewing. I keep it for a special Sunday treat. And, I'm going to toast some apple cinnamon raisin bread to have with my breakfast. I picked it up at the Amish booth at the Farmer's Market yesterday. It's absolutely yummy!!
... Spent some extra time with Mom yesterday. She's leaving with my nephew Wednesday to go to my sister's for Thanksgiving. He's coming home on Sunday but Mom is staying until mid-December. So we chatted and I fixed pillboxes for a month so she'd have them ready to take with her.

It's dreary here in Iowa. No sun at all. We're supposed to have lows in the 20's by Tuesday. Highs in the 40's. I hate the cold anymore,especially if I have to get out in it. The joints don't like it. Have a great day wherever you may be.

Hi Cesse, been a mixture of sunshine,clouds and rain, with a very strong wind, so have been indoors most of the day. Not been in the pond much, but I am trying to catch up now, and of course will be game playing this evening, enjoy your Sunday

Hi Cesse, supposted to today. At least it has been pretty for most of the week.

I am glad you had a good time with your friends yesterday. My best friends and I do a few things together once in awhile, but it seems like everyone is so busy. Most of my friends work so it is difficult to get time together what with families and other things. There are a few friends that were some of my best friends that I have lost contact with since I got married. Haven't talked to them in years. May try to reestablish contact after the first of the year when everything hopefully calms down some.

Today I have been cutting coupons that I have let pile up, reading and posting some, and may play some demos later. I think I will buy TGT because when I tried it at another site awhile back I liked it other than the voice cutting out. Will try it from here and see what happens. It looked like a fun game.

Hi everybody! It's cold in California. I miss the summer already..lol. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. Sure, I wanna see my family but it's really the good food I'm after.

Isn't fun to be out with the girls! My DD and DDIL try to get together for lunch at least once a year. It's hard getting together as one live on either side of the mountains and I live kinda in the middle. But we try.

The wind is blowing pretty hard here this morning and it's a bit chilly at 46 F. It's also trying to rain. We don't usually get much rain, but we'll see today. Our puppies want to go outside, but soon after they want back in.

It'll be a lazy Sunday for DH and me. Watch some football and do some reading.

hubby comes home today yippee, although it was fun. I went to dinner last night, at a little family style rest. I took my book with me, I used to eat out by myself all the time when I was single, so I dont' have a problem with it - BUT ... they stuck my in a small outer room - in a little table and next to me was a huge table with 8 kids under probably 7 - thank goodness they were finishing - But I thought that was a really crappy thing for the hostess to do, and I will not be going back there! I know it was a family rest. But there were other tables available .. it wasn't the people with all the kids fault, it was the hostess's fault !
Found out hubby volunteered us for all kinds of things this week, while he was hunting .. none to happy about that either.
anyway - got a couple of errands to run -then that will be it. Oh, on the upside, I did buy a really cute sweater last night, although I went in for shoes, lol. And I have a new coat in my future - I can just see it ... lol

Good Afternoon Fishies, it overcast and chilly here, a good day to play games and listen to the football game and race. We had subs for lunch, they just opened a Firehouse Subs in the shopping center we pass on the way home, they were OK but I still prefer Subways..
Teresa I'm with you, I let the coupons pile up and then the day before grocery shopping I moan and groan clipping them, I love to use them just don't like to clip them.
I need to decide what games I'm going to get to finish out November-fest, I'll probably save at least one until the very end to see what comes along next week.

Sounds like I'm not the only one with cold, damp weather. Once it started raining, about 3 weeks ago, I think it's rained every day. I know it's Seattle, but still....

Gonna work on my Christmas projects for my girls this afternoon. I can't work on them when they're here for the holidays, and I have a lot more to do, so I think I'll find a good movie on TV and crochet, crochet, crochet.

Hi Everyone!! Hope y'all had a fun day. Have several topside errands tomorrow so decided to make today a relaxing day ... listened to a book while playing games; watched the final events in the Canada Grand Prix (ice skating). The skating events in the 2010 olympics should be jam packed with talent!!

Kitten, sorry the cold bothers your joints. I have low blood pressure and if I get cold it's very painful ... so I empathize.

Cptduzer, anytime I eat out alone, I also take a book with me ... and I always ask for the table I want ... not necessarily the one they want me to have. Usually because I'm looking for good reading light. hmmm, looking for shoes; bought sweater!! LOL
