Highly enjoyable demo that lasted 73 minutes and included an impressive 'trailer' for the rest of the game that would have quite probably persuaded me to buy it....if I hadn't already decided to hit the 'buy' button

I felt like I was being taken on a terrific adventure; not a lot of HOS scenes to disrupt the flow of this game and puzzles designed to feel as though they're actually getting you somewhere you need to go, not just to fill time.

The HOS are all silhouette-style in the demo and very sparse. Plenty of mini-games that don't rely on the 'move this part and it moves all the other parts' type (which I hate), just a nice variety which were a pleasure to solve. The map is excellent; tabs for various areas which show where an action is available and whether or not you've found the collectible/morphing item. Some of these are not easy to see but the cursor changes to a hand when you find them; this can be altered in the 'custom' mode of gameplay along with the usual music, cursor, sparkles etc. The SG only shows the first 2 chapters.

I found the graphics a touch grainy in some places and there is an awful lot of talking; it can be skipped but I didn't want to miss something important so had to sit through it Also, the game froze briefly a couple of times early on but as I progressed, I didn't notice it happening again.

This game shows itself off very well; trailers and cut scenes are quite dramatic and give it a real adventure feel. Off to buy it now and can't wait to continue playing

No technical issues other than the brief 'freeze' a couple of times. Desktop running Win7 Prof 64-bit,

Hi fishies Just stopped the demo and bought this beautiful game! Kudos to the developers...very well done...graphics are great...the story pulls you in and engages you...so far Ive come across a couple of HOP which are fun and interactive. Love the map which is also interactive...so far there are morphing objects, a collectable and 10 coins to be found, and the map tells you when you've found them. The coins actually go into your inventory. Give the demo a try and with the discount code offered well worth this lovely Saturday gift! Happy gaming and a blessed weekend to all

I agree with the other posts. This is a fun game (based on demo only). I like the colorful scenes, some new takes on mini challenges. I will purchase.

I bought the game last night and am just about to start on it now. I've been waiting for ages for this game. I love this developer. Great graphics, good challenge and story line. What more could we want aye. Huge storm here at the moment and I ain't going out anywhere. I'll need a canoe - which is a bit hard as I live on a huge hill. Now waiting for it to get light so we can see out how bad it is out there - very noisy overnight.

Marvelous and fantastic game. Graphics are great and special effects are surprising and exciting. Storyline is such that you just want to continue in the game longer and longer. Best game in a long time.

Be careful in the cave with the last scroll. After picking up the scroll and opening it the game removed me from the cave before I could pick up the key. it won't let me back in and I can make no further progress without the key.

Great game! The people are so realistic and remind me...of the quality they put in large file games. The story line is so refreshing and new. I'm so tired of the same old story lines. It has become more and more difficult to find games to hold my attention and interest.

I highly recommend this winner. So, don't pass up on the trial. This one will catch your interest. At the very least...for the story line being something new and different than the usual.

Enjoy, I know I will. Finally something new!
Lisa

I've played through the game including the bonus chapter. Been a long time since I've been sorry to see a game completed. Great job developers!! Interesting story including the bonus, superb graphics and music not aggravating. Hints very helpful and I will be playing again now that I know what is going on and know where and what to do next.

Did I just finish playing the same game as the other fishes? Marvelous, fantastic & a winner??? Not IMHO for sure!!!

This game is definitely not new with its rehashed story line.

While scenes are colorful, the graphics/characters are strictly 1950's comic book quality. Good for comics but not this game.

Puzzles are of the usual lame quality. With 64 min left to play I never did come across any HOPS.

This game is just so B O R I N G that I never found it interesting or an attention grabber.

What a nice surprise! This game is Beautiful and Fun. The puzzles are often unique and appropriate to the locations. The art is wonderful. I am still playing and enjoying this game. Don't forget to look for the morphing objects and collectibles as you go. Every scene has been a Joy for me. One of the best games in quite a while with all of the things I enjoy, beauty, cleverness and immersive. It is sometimes a little difficult but not unsolvable. If it continues as it is going it will be one of my all-time favorites. I am now almost ready to make the potion. I have gathered all but one ingredient. Well Done Devs!

I am also with nontechiegrannie on this....I find something fun to do in most games but this game was very uncreative and boring to me.It didn't seem to flow, and felt very mechanical. I was not very fond of the graphics either. If your in that type of game where it seems to play out more like a puzzle than a story I think you will find it enjoyable...

I am just loving this light adventure game.
It really isn't an easy game in many cases(actually found it it odd to read that some found it so) and if one takes time to read the scrolls and really let oneself become immersed it is very rewarding.
I adore the Mayan culture and find the art work here amazing and so enjoyable. The music also is perfect. The game play flows and keeps ones interest.
Others have given great reviews but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in in the hopes that 5BN will continue to produce such high quality games.
Kudos!!! <3

Just finished this game and while I commented before when I stopped the demo to buy just felt an update was in order. This was a very beautiful, well thought out game that kept me engaged the whole time. The graphics were some of the best Ive seen...just gorgeous. Now, I will say this....this is not what you would call a fast paced, high action game which is why some of the reviews are using the word boring....and the only other issue I had is Im not a fan of silhouette-style HOPs, but that was easily tolerated with all the positive aspects of this game. I found it challenging at times, but mostly relaxing and very pleasurable to play...it will certainly go on my list to play again at some point, and sadly its not a very long list. If you havent tried the demo please do...if its not for you thats always our choice. Much love and light to all and Happy gaming!

This game doesn't cut much ice w/ me. I've had it for a while now, & up 'til now, never thought to review it or comment on it, because, quite honestly, I forgot I even had it; it made that little impression on me. I chanced upon it today & decided to replay it, but found myself getting so bored w/ it, I left off, went back again later, then left off again, likely not to return. Other than the setting & the particular characters (which I thought mostly poorly rendered), there's very little that's fresh about this game; even many of the mini-games are ones this dev has used over & over again. Maybe it's just me? - but when a dev debuts a new series, I expect them to try to knock my socks off, NOT rest on their laurels.
