airship item packing diamond cost

[Post New]by Aynasha on May 19, 17 5:02 AM
Does anyone know or remember how many diamonds it costs to buy an airship item to pack and ship the airship when none of that item are in inventory?

I believe it costs 3 diamonds if you are out of, or even lacking, an airship item. Bad thing is, like the ZZs you have to buy ALL of what you are lacking, not just 1. Rather expensive for the player, since it only costs your friends 30 coins

.
Thanks for reminding me of this diabolical plot by BFG to relieve me of my hard earned diamonds which; will happen in about a week's time when I go DQ hunting in the returning "regular" game
I also think that most of my Level 76 Friends will be on the same quests so they will not readily give me their inventory. If they too are out though they may cough up 30 for one to gift me?

Just an additional piece of info.....

IF you have insufficient amount of an item for an airship sending, indeed, it will cost you 3 diamonds per item missing (must purchase all -- cannot purchase just one or 2) as GulfCoastGuppy has stated.

Playingthegame is also correct in that a friend can gift you one of the items for 30 coins if that player/friend is totally out of that particular item.....however, the friend actually has a CHOICE as to whether he/she uses 30 coins to purchase the item, or 3 diamonds.

And, of course, if the friend is not totally out, there is no option to purchase in any manner -- it would be deducted from their inventory......

(I reeeeeeelllly wish the Devs would allow a purchase of an item OR have the item be removed from one's inventory.....I have tons of coins and diamonds ..... and would happily purchase many items....however, I am reluctant to give from inventory sometimes.

When you don't like the airship's requested items, send it away empty.
Good chance, the next ship will ask for other items.

Keep doing HOSs...every one drops an airship item.

Have never been desperate enough to spend diamonds on them!

And put whichever airship item you have the least of in your wish list.

I am LOW on airship items..1/3 of what i had after W.E. Here's my annoyance..I send ships away empty when they want the Lowest number of items i have..and then they come back a Lot of the time with the Same items. It's important to keep your items balanced..same number of each. It's bad enough that my game wants airship stuff all the time but worse is trying to take every last one of my lower items..Bad Game! Sooooo, IF you have no particular need for the pet food and stamp (since you are sending the ship out empty anyway) .......

First, send out the airship ..... empty
Second, go to your inventory, airship page ......
Look at the number of each item......If there is a greater disparity than 20, look at the item with the least amount and sell or disenchant the 2 or 3 with the most amount to come close to that one with the least....

Example:
Airship items listed have the following quantities:
245, 250, 263, 280, 285, 290......

Sell or disenchant the top three so you have the following:
245, 250, 258, 260, 260, 260

You will find that the game will start to give you a balance of items so you will not have the large difference in amounts....until you send a full airship, of course.

May I interject on AEGram's strategy? Before going to your airship inventory, after sending an empty ship take a sneak peek at the required items for the upcoming airship. If by chance it will want one or several of your higher number of supplies, waiting to send it may balance out your supplies for you.

Also, if the airship is asking for the 2 you have least of & the one you have most of, just pack the one crate you have the most of. You get your coins for them right away, & the airship will leave when it's ready.
Or if it's asking for 2 you have most of & the 1 you have least of, pack the 2 crates, etc.
Lots faster than selling off 100 or 200 individual items!

While this is an option..... you can pack only 1 or 2 crates.....and you will get the coins immediately....however, if your airship has just arrived in dock, then you will need to wait 16 hours before it departs on its own....THEN you must wait an additional 4 hours for it to return.

So, I can't really agree that is is faster than selling off the items....

Either way, you are not getting the additional pet food or stamp....so, if you instead just sold the 24 ships lanterns and 20 bronze amphora..... you still have the coins immediately.....plus, you will have sent the airship empty and it will return in 4 hours, which is much faster than waiting 20 hours for the next airship.

My strategy for balancing out the airship items is to always put the one with the least in items on my wishlist and gift only the top 2 or 3. People who are new to the game don't have a lot of inventory to gift, but they will get airship items each time they do an HOS. That gives them something in their inventory to gift to you and helps to build up the ones you have the least of. Also your friends who have been playing longer may have too many of the ones you need and not enough of the ones you have too many of. A swap benefits both of you.

…always put the one with the least in items on my wishlist and gift only the top 2 or 3.

I also do this (except when my wishlist is down )

…you will have sent the airship empty and it will return in 4 hours, which is much faster than waiting 20 hours for the next airship.

Waiting for the airship to come back is usually not a problem for me. I'm busy doing Terraces, etc. More often than not, the airship leaves on it's own anyway …… empty! At least if I packed the 1 or 2 crates, while I was thinking about it , then I get something out of it. If it leaves empty, I got nothing.

The "faster" I was referring to is the time it takes sitting there selling the items, 1 at a time, while the little coins & airship items scroll by endlessly vs 2 seconds to pack 2 crates.
So …… spend 10 minutes selling airship items 1 by 1,
or do 15 Terraces?
Hmmmm, 15x50 coins, plus 15 airship items, plus 15 Terrace items, plus 15 Spring items, plus maybe food, stamps, energy balls, & gift boxes ……
I know which I'll choose.
