It is only for the Collectors Edition.

The regular $6.99 version will be out earlyish December.

The game manager is set up to know that one credit/coupon equals one game. When they do an update to Game Manager they will fix it so it can be programmed for instances of Collectors Editions where more credit's or funds are needed.

If they had the capabilities right now I don't doubt that coupons or credits would have been accepted.

Suzy,

You need to contact Customer Service so they can help you with the game. Have you read the thread about Technical Difficulties and done what was suggested there?

You don't need to clear that.

Have you got your last typewriter key? If so put that in the door and put in the word to open it. From there it will take you to a trolley type thing to go to the cottage.

And Dire Grove will be available for $6.99 soon......so every game is still $6.99.

I repeat.....what about the daily deals for $2.99 or the free games or $.99 games. Should they stop doing those since they aren't $6.99?

The Collectors Edition is more than $6.99, but the regular version without the extra will still be $6.99!

There is a game every day for $6.99. TGT is Amazing Adventures the Caribbean Secret. You don't have to re-activate your account to be a game member just to buy games. Buy a game and click cancel for the game club. This Collectors Edition is only available to Game Club members but the regular version will be out in earlyish December for $6.99.

Thanks Erie. Can't wait to dive into this one. Tonight is slow in coming.......more specifically....bedtime for the kids.

You need to go through every area that had a hidden object search sparkle. The sparkly you are talking about I believe you see from the schoolhouse. That is actually the gingerbread house.

To reiterate. Credits could not be used for the Collectors Edition as the game manager is hard wired for one game equaling one credit. They will fix this when they do a game manger upgrade. So, it is impossible to do anything but purchase the game outright if you want this version.

The regular version will be out earlyish December. They still need to do the partition (or whatever they called it) for the demo time and will try to get it close to an hour, before they release the regular version.

Also, it has been stated that sales from the Collectors Edition help to offer the game for $6.99. This game is a major expense and I don't have a problem paying more for it to help with the production of the next one. Something that is planned on all year can be saved for at about $2 a month.

Yes, they are different, but not in game play. The CE has the strategy guide as you stated, but also concept art, wallpaper, bonus levels, achievements, extra video clips. Not sure what all as I haven't played yet.

I'm so sorry Rose. Just when you thought you could play.

I can't play til tonight myself so I'm anxiously awaiting as well.

The Collectors Edition will always be available for Game Club Members. Not to worry, get it when you're able.

What happened to "All games are now $6.99?

As far as this part of your statement. They still have a TGT for $6.99 so they are still honoring their slogan. Does that mean that you don't like the Daily Deals and other specials they put on, because they are less than $6.99?

This is a special Collectors Edition, which has a built in strategy guide and other extra things, wallpaper, concept art, bonus levels, achievements......

The regular $6.99 version will be available in earlyish December.

This CE is only available to Game Club members.

I just finished playing this again, and if I remember correctly 3 of them were in hidden object scenes. The last one is in Rose's coffin.

From other posts I've read it seems to play the same as RTR, so you probably wouldn't like it. I loved RTR myself (just finished again last night) and can't wait to play this tonight.

I haven't played yet as I need to wait til tonight when the kids are in bed....but I want to say that I hope there are CE's in the future as well. The MCF's are well worth it alone. I love all 4 of the big series that does though.
for another great game from the looks of the video. Can't wait to play!

edited to fix the icon.

You're welcome ladydragon.

I'm up past my bedtime, but had to finish RTR before I play DG tomorrow night.

ladydragon,

I don't have a concrete answer for you, but.....have you played Hidden Expedition Devils Triangle? If not, download and try the demo and see if it will work on your system. Same specs as Dire Grove.

Downloading now! Thanks Picman!

Still finishing RTR though for this year......just freed the twins and trying to remember how much more of the game I have to go....guessing 1/3 left.
