I agree with the good reviews. The graphics don't bother me. Very Quake-like, which I still love to play. I would much rather play a game with old style graphics. than try to play a game with all the wistles and bells that fights running on my comp. untill I give up in anger, resentment and that ripped off feeling because I am excluded from playing.
Maybe the makers of all the resent games that won't play correctly for so many could learn a few things from these posts. Even without all the fancy but often fuzzy graphics, what gamers want is to play a game that realy works, holds our interest and is longer (for most average players) than 2 hours.
I still have about 20 min. left on my demo but this game is a buy for me. Happy fish here.

It seems like most of the games have gotten shorter and shorter. I wish BF would come out with a montly game pass. that way if the games are short we could at least get our money's worth by having something else to play. I rarely play most games more then once anyway. There are some favorites I would buy. I have so many that I will never play again.

I agree. I have updated my drivers, flash player and Direct X. I won't do the dr. Felix thing again beacuse I will just be told to buy a new video card. Well, with the shape of finances right now, a lot of people can't afford to replace their hardware everytime a few new games come out.
Most of the realy interesting games that have come out on BF lately will refuse to run properly on many comps. Now. I've even figured out problems and how to get around them myself. If I can figure it out, I'm sure that the mighty programers can also, if they cared to.
Myself I'm tired of racking up credits because half the games won't play. Or worse yet, buying something that's just ok because I realy want something to play. I can play mediocre games for $10 a month, all I can download. I joined BF because they had superior games, a good selection of games and games I could count on. As of late that hasen't been the case.

I'm stuck in the cellar too, just like many on the "The Cellar - no task to be found" thread. Upgraded drivers and Direct-X. Won't bother with tech support. They will just tell me to upgrade my video card and can't afford it. So tired of so many games that won't run on anything but the latest, new comps.

Mine is still stuck on find the voice. Can't pick up crowbar or lantern parts. So tired of games that won't run right on anything but new comps.

Won't load tabs for cellar to look for crowbar and lantern. Won't let me pick up either. Hope they fix it but my demo's almost up. Have latest drivers and direct x.

Mine did't say anything, no tabs. Wher is the lamp?


Found the lantern, wouldn't let me pick it up. Still no tabs. Will delete and try again. Only 30 min. left on demo, then bye, bye for me. Too bad, so sad.

Same here, no task listed other than to find the voice.

Went back, saw a crowbar on bottom of steps, couldn't pick it up. Don't see a lamp.

I couldn't play the demo for the first one because my mouse couldn't select. I downloaded this one with the same problem. I decided to play around and see just what it wouls select. I turned off the Game cursor and it was worse, so I clicked on wide screen, then it let me select the custom cursor. I selected full screen again and my mouse started working. Don't know why. Will go back and finish the demo and see if everything still works.

I had the plates but they didn't work anyway. I had to skip the mini game.

Very few Hidden objects. Mostly puzzles, a lot of matching. Played demo @ another site. A lot of running around doing puzzles, not much adventure. Don't think it compares to Sam Swift, wish it did, I love her games. Pretty repetative. Don't think this is for me.

Hi guys! Carol here. I have been napping lately too, also not from depression. I've been getting more done here, at home, my place needs work and I've been chipping at it a bit at a time. I think it's just been a very hard winter and we realy need a bit of extra rest, so I'm trying not to let it guilt me out.
Imf40. I had trouble with dry mout and went to Walgreem's. I got Oral balance made by Biotene, It's a dry mouth moisturizer and works pretty good. I keep it in my backpack, so it's always with me. It's about 7 bucks, but it lasts a long time cause you only need a bit.
I've been reading posts with a bit of info about where we all are. I have never felt about other member of a forum as I do here. I'll tell you where I am. I live right outside of Atlanta right now. Used to live in Northern Cal., Sanoma County and I miss it so much. I'm not much for the deep south. For one, the weather is killing me. The heat and humidity is so bad several months of the year and Ga. is the worst place I ever lived for alergies. I had to move here because of finances. I have some family here, so this is where I ended up.Well enough of my whining. the reason I said all this is I would like to buils a PM network with anyone interested.
E-mails, phone numbers, etc.I think it could help us out. For instance, My son and many friends are stll in Cal., so I have a plan with unlimited long distance. We could call each other and even PM or e-mail if we needed to talk and the people without unlimited could get a cal back from those who have it. I don't know about you guys, but I would love to hear your voices. We could put some loose rules together if we need to. We might even end up meeting each other.

I bought Vampireville with my free ticket. It's a realy cute game and funny dialog. Did anyone else get it. I saw badger in the forum, so I'm assuming you got it badg, do you like it?

Did I hear someone talking about me? Yep, I'm back! I spent the week-end pretty busy. Had my car worked on by a wonderful church group that does reg. Maint. for mostly single older babes, oil changes, etc. while we wait and visit. Also spent some time with a 74 yr. old lady down the street. She has parrots and I helped her these last two days to do cages, water, etc. and visit and such. She gets lonely. Her family is not as attentive as they could be. I enjoy it though. She's a funny little Italian lady. I am in love with one of her birds, his name is Clover, he's a bright green Indonesian (sp?) parrot. He's such a love and sits on my sholder and gives me kisses. These birds are funny. One sits there and sings "bad boys, bad boys, watchya' gonna' do?". I have some wacky and wonderful neighbors. I'm lucky.

It is so good to see everyone is feeling a little better this morning. I checked in over the week-end but I was very tired and didn't feel like writing much. Even when I don't write, I try to check in on everybody, so I can include you all in my prayers, as short as they may be. Even when everyone is having a hard time, I still feel blessed to have you all in my life. It's just a warm, fuzzy feeling and I thank you all for being just who you are (as Mr. Rogers would say), I like you just the way you are!

I just wanted to give you all an ALERT! don't ever download from "I play" games. I downloaded from them an they took my home page hostage. I had to get help from Microsoft and reload IE8. I was so mad. They're not nice people.

Please tell me what makes it worth $20 as opposed to waiting for the 6.99 version? So far have not liked the builtin strat. guides as compared to real walkthroughs. Ended up using walkthroughs anyway. If it's realy worth it I will streach my budget. How long is game play? I've played part of demo and seems like a realy nice game, I love fairy tales.
Would someone remind me what the marble puzzles are? I know I must have played them but can't place it. Must be the brain damage. Thanks!

I want to thank BF again for making it possible to play allthe games I demoed befor but couldn't fit in my budget. You can only buy so many, even at 6.99 but at 2.99, even I can do that. Nice game.

I played the demo when it first came out but at the time, it wasn't in my budget. Thank goodness for DD. Can't wait to play. Nice review, thanks for your time and great effort.

I've had to reload my toolbar for the last three days to get it to update. I thought it was just me untill I read other posts stating the same problem. BF, at least let us know you're awear and if anything is being done. Thanks

Have downloaded and uninstalled 3 times. Game still unresposive to cursor. Takes ages to load and get out of. Giving up. Too bad, so sad.
